Siyanshi woke up with a loud gasp as she sat up on her bed. She rested her hand on her chest as she took deep breaths to calm herself down. With the bitter words of Ruchiparvan against his father still ringing in her ear she shook her head as she reached out for the water besides her bed.

She gulped down the water hurriedly as she once again refilled the glass. After finishing the whole jar of water kept besides her bed, she stood up and paced around the room.

"My Parvan is a smart boy. He is just angry at my swami, he is just angry at the fact that Prabhavati and Prabhavan got to spend time with their father even if it was just for a little while, all while he didn't. It's okay Siye, don't stress about this situation." Siyanshi spoke to herself as she paced around. "

"Remember when Parvan was still a little child he used to come to you running and crying at night because he wanted to go in the field and plant paddy and rice with his father just like how Bidyut kaka's son and grandson used to. Or how he didn't want to sleep unless he heard one of his father's story of his bravery and valor?" Siyanshi reminded herself as she tried to keep her restless and pained heart at peace.

"He even said he wanted to learn warfare and archery from his father himself and not any other guru or Satyaki. Since then he hasn't even touched a bow. How could a child who yearned for his father every minute grow to hate him? It's impossible." she shook her head.

She went towards the cupboard and opened it. There her eyes fell on the silver garments and golden jewelries which once belonged to her husband which she kept safely and neatly folded. She remembered that he had given it to her during their last meeting.

~Flashback~

As Siyanshi sat there on the bed holding back her tears while fidgeting with the sheets of the bed with Survi fanning her the doors to the chambers opened.

Siyanshi could hear the footsteps entering inside the room. "Ekant." she heard her husband's voice as Survi stopped fanning the room. The room was silent with no one daring to speak, as Survi's footsteps slowly disappeared and the door was shut it was then when Siyanshi looked up from the sheets of the marital bed of her and her husband.

She looked at her husband the veery yodha; Rajkumar Arjun who had won her hand in marriage with the grand display of his wits and abilities standing there in saffron color clothing traditionally worn by the great rishis and sages.

While usually adorned in the finest silks, jewelries and silver which contrasted yet complimented his youngest wife's colors, Arjuna stood there infront of her devoid of anything that showed that he was of royal status.

Siyanshi stood up as she walked towards him. Her hands gently held his face in her palms as she looked at his handsome face. Her hands ran down his neck, down to his arms and then hand as she took in his appearance not knowing how long the separation would be.

"Siye." Arjun whispered as he handed his wife his royal clothing and jewelry. Siyanshi simply shook her head refusing to take it since it would mean that she was letting him go.

"Take it na, priye." Arjuna spoke softly as Siyanshi shook her head once again. "You do know right that I am in just as much pain as you are in. This separation of ours hurts me as much as it hurts you if not more." Arjun said holding his wife by her shoulder.'

"If so then take me with you as well na, swami." Siyanshi spoke looking up at her husband with teary eyes. "Take me with you as well. Life without you is meaningless, the world will be a cruel place without you." Siyanshi cried as she begged her husband to take her along with her.

"Please understand, Siye. I cannot take you along with me." Arjuna spoke. "The kaurav kumars said that only you five brothers are to go to 12 years of vanvas and 1 year of agyatvas. Panchali jiji is coming along with you because it is the same for her as it is for me. If panchali jiji is coming along with you then why can't I?" Siyanshi asked.
