(Y/N) only blacked out for a moment before she began to slowly open her eyes, letting out a groan as the pain hit her full force. She was laying at the base of a tree, the demon's voice slowly filling her ears as she taunted the injured demon slayer.
"Oh, you're still awake? I'm impressed" she spoke, smirking down at (Y/N)'s injured form. Knowing she couldn't stay still, the demon slayer began reaching for her blade. Finally, the demon slayer gripped the handle of her blade, fighting through the pain, (Y/N) slowly got to her feet. Taking a deep breath, the demon slayer prepared to continue fighting. Still smirking, the demon sent another, faster barage of attacks. Despite the pain, (Y/N) was able to somehow dodge the attacks, getting closer and closer to the demon.
"You pest, get away from me!" The demon shouted, (Y/N) ignored her, keeping herself calm. Once she was close enough to the demon's neck, the demon slayer swung her blade, intending to decapitate the creature. In a frenzy, the demon used one of her claws to impale the young woman's side. (Y/N) Resisted the urge to cry out in pain and continued to swing her blade. The metal made contact with the demon's neck, causing her eyes to go wide.
"How? Sh-she...!" The demon didn't have time to think anymore as her head was separated from her body, flying through the air. It landed on the ground, her body began to disingrate as she glared at the demon slayer. At the same time, (Y/N) fell to the ground, placing a hand over the wound. She smiled as she watched the demon turn to dust, happy to have survived.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!" Hikari's voice could be heard faintly in the distance. Still barely awake, the demon slayer spotted the young woman running toward her with tears in her eyes.
"(Y/N)! You're hurt!" Hikari cried out, kneeling down next to the demon slayer. The young woman smiled, happy to have defeated the demon. Hikari quickly began attending to the young woman's wounds, meanwhile (Y/N) was trying not to pass out.
"(Y/N)! Don't worry, I'll get you help" Hikari reassured her. That was the last thing the demon slayer heard before blacking out.
