Chapter XLVII: The 2 Dreaded Yasogami Pageants

So I have to cut a lot of corners in this scene cause it's honestly very weird to write. I have no problems with people who want to cross-dress or people who like showing off their skin, that's not my problem. If you want to do that, go ahead, I am not your dad so do whatever you wanna do.

However, no one wanted to actually do either of the pagenats in the game, except Teddie, and you could argue Rise but I feel if she were given a choice she wouldn't do it (unless to impress Yu, but this isn't a YuRise story), and I think she was okay with it cause she's worn swimsuits on camera before for ads and stuff.

If you don't remember what the outfits look like, there's fanart on top to visualize it, but I was told that Kanji was dressed as Marilyn Monroe (she was a famous model and actress way back in the day), Yu is supposed to be like a warrior type girl with the fake sword (tho this time he brought a real sword for the funny, Yosuke is supposed to just be wearing a school uniform (not Yasogami, just a random girl uniform), And Teddie is Alice from Alice in Wonderland. Makes sense why Yosuke looks the worst since his isn't really unique in comparison.

Also a quick spoiler for this chapter, I made the decision to not let Teddie in the competition because I feel that's something Yu would do in order to at least try to prevent the girls from wearing swimsuits.

Now who will be the new winner of the "Miss" Yasogami Pageant? Well I think we can all agree Kanji looks the best, however the audience doesn't think so (Dumbass audience), and if he wins the contest then Kanji would faint while being an honorary judge at the sight of Naoto. So I let Yu take the win as based on reactions form the Yasogami students, if it weren't for Teddie he might have won. Trust me I wanted to give Kanji the win he deserves, but for the sake of him not fainting, Yu will win, but we can all agree Kanji deserved to win right? Even Yu agrees.

Anyways here's the only thing I'll write from the "Miss" Yasogami Pageant, which is your funny canon skit.

Yu: That's a cute outfit. Did your husband give it to you?

Yosuke: Shut up Yu, just shut up.

Begin!

The next day was a day Yu was really dreading. 10/30, the Pageant contests. It fucking sucked.

He had managed to talk Yosuke out of getting Teddie signed up to try and make sure he doesn't win, because last time his prize for winning was making the pageant consist of swimsuits, which the girls did not consent to (Although Rise seemed okay with the idea, but she was still hesitant, it was likely due to her being used to it from ads, and Naoto just left the Pageant midway.)

What made it worse is that Marie out of all people had to come witness his shame and even help with the make up (likely thanks to Margaret telling her to come), he was bound to be teased by it for eternity, didn't make it better that Magatsu Izanagi was in his head, constantly mocking him (even calling his relationship with Marie a "Temporally Lesbian Relationship"). Is this punishment for betraying his friends? Maybe.

It made it worse they decided to take pictures of the moment, as they also dressed up Teddie either way but since he wasn't competing it was more for fun, although Teddie didn't realize this was supposed to be a punishment and actually enjoyed it. He even insisted to keep it on for a bit longer.

Since Teddie was out of the contest, Yu didn't care who won as long as they didn't make the girl's Pageant worse. He knew Yosuke had no chance at winning, and to be honest, he thought Kanji looked the best out of the four, so he was likely gonna win.
