Magatsu Izanagi: (Why are you raising your hand?)

Since Yukiko's party, the Investigation Team plus Marie had just been hanging out, not having to worry about the case.
Kanji and Naoto had gone on some dates as well, and everyone supported their new relationship.
Yu had been taking out Marie to different places, and showing her around the town. They would sometimes hang out with the rest of the group, which was always great.
Marie seemed down sometimes and Yu wasn't sure why, but he did his best to comfort her.
But now it was 12/23, Evening... Christmas Eve is tomorrow...
Yu checked his phone, he had one new message, it was from Marie, he went to answer.
Marie: I heard of something called "Christmas" from some of the other people in Inaba. What is it and can we both do it? Or eat it if its food.
Yu: Sure, I'd be happy to
Marie: Thanks! You better not forget and you better explain "Christmas" to me!
Yu: I will I will
Yu decided to spend time with Marie tomorrow.
12/24, Morning. Yu was out doing some grocery shopping to buy a cake until he spotted Kanji.
Yu: Kanji?
Kanji: Huh? Senpai?
Yu: How's it been going?
Kanji: I'm doing fine. What about you?
Yu: Great so far, I'm just going to go buy ingredients to bake a cake for tonight.
Kanji: You too?
Yu: Oh, you also got a Christmas date?
Kanji: W-Well... yeah. With Naoto.
Yu: That's great
Kanji: You got one with Marie yeah?
Yu: Yep.
Kanji: Nice.
Yu: Well good luck with your date.
Kanji: T-Thanks. You too.
The two of them go to buy cakes for their waifu's. Kanji buys a whole cake while Yu decides to buy ingredients to cook one.
At night, with Yu and Marie at the Dojima residence. Yu was working on baking a cake. Marie was watching the T.V. as she waited.
Izanagi: (I wonder how she is with cooking.)
Yu: (I do wonder too, but I don't think she's even seen an oven before, so I rather be safe than sorry.)
Izanagi: (Well, never hurts to try and teach her if you both are willing to.)
Yu: (That can be my New Year's resolution, as well as with the others.)
Izanagi: (New Year's resolution: Teach everyone how to cook.)
Marie: It's too quiet without them...
Yu: Yeah, Uncle and Nanako are still in the hospital.
