[Lampert POV]

Daddy is taking me somewhere,he says it's a surprise. I like surprises,they are always fun! Though it's weird he is taking me past my bedtime,I don't mind though,it just means I get more time with him!

My tail is wagging quick,daddy says it's because i'm happy,which is true! I can hardly wait to see where we're going! I'm happy,but daddy looks sad,when I ask about it,he just excuses my question. I don't like it when he does that,it makes me sad too.

It's very dark,I don't like the dark,it scares me. But I know daddy will protect me,daddy is strong,he has no fears.


[Nobodies POV]

They were getting closer to their location. Lampert was happy to get a surprise,but he was sad that Mark wasn't paying much attention to him. This is how it was ever since the divorce.


[Lampert POV]

Daddy has been really nice to me recently,it always makes me happy when daddy does stuff like this. I am happy,but daddy doesn't seem to feel the same. He looks sad. I don't like it when daddy is sad,but I don't know how to make him happy again.

I used to have another dad,but they don't talk anymore. Whenever they do,they argue and say mean things to each other. I don't like it when they fight. I love both of my dads,they both love me,but they no longer love each other.


[Nobodies POV]

They soon arrived at their location. It was a big building. It was also closed,but Mark had his ways. Which would be breaking the large windows


[Lampert POV]

Me and my daddy soon stopped at a big building,the color of it was a pretty blue color. I like the color blue! Daddy lead me through a window,I cut myself on my legs but daddy told me to 'walk it off',so I listened to him. He knows best,right?


[Nobodies POV]

Mark leads Lampert through the place,he leads him to somewhere in the middle of the store and looks at him,his eyes tearing up slightly.

"Okay Lampert,I need you to stay here,got it?"

Lampert nods quickly,his tail wagging quickly,he was excited for the 'surprise'

Mark gives Lampert one last pat on the head before turning away from him and walking away. Lampert watched curiously. Once he had lost sight of him,he waited...and waited...and waited..

Lampert eventually got tired and fell asleep on the cold floor.

He woke up late at night,he soon remembered why he was there and quickly got up to look for his father. He tugged on the string that hung from his head,turning the light on. Lampert looked around blindly for a bit.

"Daddy..? Daddy? Dad...?"

Lampert called,but nobody responded After a while of searching,he soon gave up and curled up on the cold hard floor and started sobbing silently. He stayed like this for the rest of the night,not daring to go outside in the cold.

(a few years later)

Lampert was talking to a nearby lamp when he heard a noise that sounded like one of an elevator. He silently panicked and decided to hide somewhere,but there was no good hiding places,so he just stood still,hoping nobody would see him.

Soon after,Lampert heard footsteps of multiple people. Lampert hasn't heard others in a while. He then notices a unknown person walk up to him and point in a certaint direction. Lampert didn't understand what they were trying to say but decided to run in that direction.

After a while,he soon found a entrence to an elevator,he thinks for a moment before entering,keeping his head low,he didn't know how to socialize with things other than lamps and poles,so he didn't dare speak to anybody in there.
