My eyes glanced over her. Her mouth opened and closing slightly as she slept. I look over her shoulder as I see a tan string sticking out from the bed. I lay up, leaning against my elbow to look at it better. Her tan bra lays there. It wasn't small, nor big. I'm guessing she was a big B or small C cup. I look back at her and realize she's staring at me.
She blushes and looks away. It's cute. "Morning," she says.
"Morning," I reply back. "did you sleep well?" I ask.
She nods and bites her lip. Cute. "Your mattress is very comfortable." She adds.
"Thanks," I wasn't going to tell her that the mattress was almost four thousand dollars. Nora rises from the bed and I do the same.
"Want some breakfast?" I ask, I throw on my shirt and try not to grin when I catch her looking at me.
"S-sure." She turns her head and looks at her hands instead of me.
"Okay, I'll go downstairs. I'll meet you down there?"
"Okay," she gulps and looks down at the bra on the floor. I grin and shut the door. When I'm near the stairs, I hear my roommates' loud voices. Aka, my best friends.
"Well look who it is," replied Blake.
I rolled my eyes, "It's only nine." I explained, looking at the bright red numbers on the oven.
"Yeah and? You are usually up by seven, going for your run." Blake fired back.
"Whatever," I ignored them and continued what I was doing. I looked through our cabinets and fridge, fetching breakfast.
"Well, I had the best sex last night," Blake smirked, telling everyone.
"No one cares." Carter said.
"Okay, Carter. At least I got some!" Blake defended himself.
Carter glared at Blake. "I got some fucker,"
"Guys, shut up. I have a headache." Noah groaned. I looked towards Noah, who was rubbing his head.
The guys stop arguing after they hear someone coming down the steps. Blake points to each one of us; counting. "Who?" Blake asks, confused.
I turn my head, Nora walks down the last step, fidgeting with her fingers. She gulps and walks over to me, hiding from everyone else. "What would you like?" I ask her.
"Oh, umm...I don't care. Whatever you want." She replied, hesitant at first. I nod my head and get started on the omelets and breakfast potatoes. Nora sits down on one of the Island chairs.
"So, Nora. Right? Weren't you the one at the party?" Blake smirks. Nora nods her head and bites her nails.
"Blake, leave her alone." I tell him, noticing how uncomfortable she is.
"I'm just asking her a question." Blake puts his hands up in surrender: defending himself.
"Yes, it's Nora." She whispers. I could tell Nora was a quiet person the first time I met her in that coffee shop. She just let someone tell her what to do, and it pissed me off.
I placed the potatoes in the skillet and started cooking them. Once the egg for the omelet was done, I placed onions, peppers, and ham in one. Then I flipped it, placing it on a plate. I did the same with the second one.
"Do you want coffee?" I turned, asking her. She bit her lip and shook her head. "Are you a tea person?" I questioned. She nodded.
Then I look towards Noah, since he was one as well. "Fine," he knew what I was asking. We all want to be healthy, but Noah was on a whole different level.
I opened the cabinet of his tea and pulled out some green tea. I grabbed a mug and poured hot water that was left over from Noah's tea earlier.
"Thank you," she thanked me after I handed her the mug of tea. I nodded and got back to breakfast. She slightly sipped her tea and watched my friends' conversations.
"Did you watch the game?" Blake asks as she sips from the mug.
She nods and swallows before answering, "I did. You guys all played great." Her eyes reach mine. She blushes and looks away. Then her phone rings. She looks down at it. "I'm sorry, I have to take this." She gets up and answers.
"Hey," she softly says into the phone before walking to the other side of the room; away from us.
I get back to cooking breakfast, trying not to eavesdrop on the conversation. "How did you sleep?" She asks the person on the other side of the phone.
"So...did you get some last night?" Blake raises his eyebrows, grinning.
"No," I say.
"Really?" Blake looks shocked.
"She needed a place to stay." I confess.
Blake looks at her before turning his head back towards me; whispering, "Is she homeless?"
I roll my eyes at him. "No, her roommate was having sex on her bed and she didn't have anywhere else to go."
"Oh," Blake looks guilty, but quickly shruged it off.
Nora hangs up the phone and walks back over. Her breakfast is done, so I place it in front of her. Nora quietly eats her breakfast that I made. "Everything okay?" I ask. Carter chuckled, but quickly hid it, drinking his coffee. I glared at him.
"Yeah, I was just checking in on...them." She hesitated for a second. Who was them? I wondered.
"Okay," is all I said.
