Chapter 36: My Charry

Eugene's POV

I turned around when..

"Eugene..Unnie." Did I heard her right? I look at her in shock.

"Sorry." Then Nayen runs away. I just looked at her while smiling. Then I enter our room with the professor's nag. I know Nayen is a nice person.

My class ended early. I am avoiding Chad nowadays. He doesn't know our boarding house too. It's a good thing though. But I miss him so much.. so much that it hurts.I went to the registrar office to get the requirements for trasfer since it's only 2 weeks before Christmas break. It's time for Chad's class to end so I've decided to exit at the back gate rather than the entrance so I wouldn't bump into Chad. On my way there, I saw Charry Unnie dancing with Kris. They are laughing because of the mistakes they've made. I thought they can make a good couple. I smile as I continue my way out. I froze when I saw Chad leaning the wall outside the gate.

Charry's POV

I don't want to be mean but Kris is not really good at dancing. I can't stop laughing because he's dancing contemporary with me and that makes him looks cute and funny.

"Okay. This time, you will run and stop, you'll look at me then you'll turn your back on me and you'll extend your arms towards me. Got it??" He looks confused.

"Do it first then I'll copy" Then I show how it's done.

"What's that?! I can't do this anymore. You're making me do weird things."

"But you agreed on doing this so you should take responsibility." Then he scratch his head and do it. He's so stiff. I laugh out loud because of his awkward moves. I can't stop laughing.

"I'm not doing this anymore." He looked really pissed. He looks funnier.

"Yah.. stop laughing. I'm warning you." He acts like a little boy right now. His facial expression is hilarious.

"I.. hahaha. sorry.. ppppffff.. hahaha" I really can't help it.

"I warned you but you didn't listen." Then he makes a dangerous smile. He pulls me close and whispers. I froze.

"When I tell you to stop.. stop. Huh?? It's my last warning" I got goosebumps all over my body. Then he moves away with a smile.

"Let's just have a showdown. Girls vs Boys. One on one together with our officers." I just nodd. My heart is still beating so fast.

Chad's POV

I didn't attend todays class because I wanted to talk with Eugene. I wanted to see her. I miss her so bad. It's been almost a week since that night happened and we never talk since then. So I decided to wait for her at the gate. It's her out. I saw her go down her floor but she's still not coming. So I thought she maybe chose to take the back gate. I went there and I've waited for her to come out. Then a few minutes later, she appears in front of me. She just stares. I do too. Then she smiles and without a word, left me. I run after her. Then she suddenly stops.

"Please.. Don't make it hard for me." She said not turning on me.

"Please give us another chance. I promise I'll wait until we finish our study. Just please.. don't run away from me. I need you, Eugene. I love you." Then my tears fall to my cheeks. Then she turn her face and look at me.

"I love you too, Chad. And I know you too much and I know myself too. We might betray our self again especially now that we knew what it feels like. I'm just stating the truth. If we really are-"

"Fuck that." I can't really lose her.

"But it's true. If we really are meant for each other.. We will be. If not.. then not."

"Why can't you just say for me to wait for you?" Then she cries.

"I don't want us to be tied in our promises. It may make or break us. I just want you to continue your life while I'm away. I just want you to be happy. And ... if somebody comes, don't hold back. Just follow your heart. Okay?? Be happy."

"But you're the most person who can make me happy, Eugene. I don't want to lose you.... I don't want to." Then she wipes my tears.

"You can.. " then she smiles and left me there.

Kris' POV

Because we can't do a contemporary dance, we decided to have a showdown between boys and girls. To make it exciting, we practice apart from each team. I'm the final performer after Charry because I'm popular with girls. No. I'm not proud of it. I hate being chase by girls. I'm not an idol or something. Charry is also popular with boys only in their department. Why not? She's beautiful. No. What you're thinking is wrong. I don't like her as a girl. Look at her picture at the media and let your eyes tell.

I am always tired because of the practice we do after class. I'm happy with what I am doing. For the first time, I'm happy. I got home with no one but the maids. They prepared foods and it taste so good but why do I feel like the food is so bland.

"I'm finished eating." I really don't have an appetite at home.

"But you just took 2 spoonfuls. You should finish it." The cook said.

"I'm tired. I'll eat it tomorrow." I'm about to go to my room when I hear Dad's voice.

"Where did you take your stubborness from?? Your Mom is not like that back when she's still here with us."

"Just like you said, she's not alive anymore. So I don't think we should talk about her. I'm stubborn?? It's fine as long as I'm not a heartless monster." Then I go on my way to my room.

"What do you mean?!! Don't turn your back on me, Kris!!" There he is again.

"Don't waste your time on me. Your files, documents, and contracts might set aside like me." Then I look at him waiting for a reply but he just stood still. So I just go to my room and took a good rest. What will I expect? I'm used to it.

A week of practice had passed and now it's the Christmas Program . My fans gathered in one space holding a tarpaulin of my face saying, "Fighting! Kris Oppa." I need a girl of BigBang's Taeyang is my song because the steps are not that strong.

The girls really like SNSD's I got a Boy, 4minute's Hot Issue,and Apink's LUV because everyone is singing along while the boys like Exo's Growl, Bts' I need you, and B1a4's Baby good night out of all the songs they've performed. Now, it's Charry's turn. She appears on stage wearing a hiphop chic outfit. Then Beyonce's Partition plays. As soon as she got on stage, the boys in their department go crazy seeing Charry today. And I think I'm going crazy too. She waves and pump her body and I get mezmerized by her to the point that I went on stage..

Charry's POV

As I dance to the music, I saw Kris on the other side of the stage and looking at me with that weird face. I'm surprised when I saw him approaching my direction. I got confused and forgot my steps so I stop. I look at him and his gaze is so deep. He's like saying something. I was about to say something when he grabbed my face and kiss my lips.
