Babysitting - Carl Grimes

I walk through the Grimes door. The cool air hits my body, making me shiver. I pull off my shoes and jacket as I then hang my jacket on the hook and put my shoes in the cubby.

I walk forward as I scan the rooms. The living room was empty, a bit messy, and the dining room was empty was as well. I soon then made my way to the kitchen. Hearing childs laughter and pans clanking. I walk in and see the one and only Carl Grimes trying to entertain Judith.

He hasn't noticed me so I just lean against the hard wood and watch from afar. A smile creeps upon my lips as I watch Carl act crazy just to entertain his baby sister.

"Y/N!" The baby yells. This caught Carls attention and he immediately stops. Rubbing his neck in embarrassment. A red tent appears on his pale soft cheeks. "Hey, I didn't hear you come in?" He stutters.

"Rick told me to come by and help you with Judith. Looks like you doing good." I say while laughing. I look back at him, imagining him still dancing. Carl then picks Judith up and hands her to me.

"You know how to calm her down?" He asks. I pick her up from him, holding her close to my chest. She cry's but once I gently rock her she calms down. "How did you do that?" He asks as his eyebrows fuse together.

"She just likes me better." I joke as I wink at him. Carl just snickers out a small laugh as he watches me with Judith. His eyes roam at us both with love. He was proud. "What?" I ask with an awkward small smile.

"Nothing." He says with a smile, a red blush appers on his cheeks as he looks at me. I press my lips together as I turn my attention back to Judith. She was now sleeping and so me and Carl walked to her crib and layed her down.

"Since she's asleep we have some time to hangout. TV and snacks?" He asks. I smile as I nod. We walk to the kitchen and ransack it for snacks. We watch Scream as we lay on each other. Jumping in each other's embrace as a jump scare pops up on the screen.
