Nanami had always frowned upon his daughter's boyfriend, even though he's never met the boyfriend. He's a protective dad, you can't blame him. And his daughter is quite beautiful , just like her dad.
But when he does meet the boy his daughter had b...
Nanami was done with this shit. He was tired. He just wanted to get home and maybe take a nice long nap. Because he didn't have anything else to do at home, and the job was tiring. Sometimes he craved a little company. He was with Satoru quite often, but that man got on his nerves. More like, he wanted something to do while he was at home on his days off.
With a last blow, he finished off the last three curses, disgusting and pathetic, they made him gag. These curses sucked the life out of him. And he didn't like it.
Nanami turned around and walked out of the damp alley. He walked towards his car, meeting Satoru on the way. He nodded to him as a form or acknowledgement, and the blindfolded man nodded back. They finished a mission in mere twenty minutes. Quite impressive eh?
Just as they were crossing yet another alleyway, they heart soft sobbing. A child. This alarmed both the men. They gave each other a look and decided to investigate. A child crying in an empty alleyway at the middle of night? It's definitely something sketchy, it might as well be a trap, but what they were about to see, they hadn't expected.
What they saw made them nauseous. Nanami's gut wretched. Gojo's heart started beating harder. They saw a man towering over a little girl. His hand on her tiny face, blocking almost any sound that might come out. His other hand fumbled with his belt. A dreadful feeling engulfed Nanami. He knew what was going to happen if no one saved the child. The girl looked terrified, rightfully so. She was young. Maybe 4 or 5 years of age. She was just a baby. She was just a baby, yet she was already a prey to the cruel world.
Nanami couldn't let that happen. Nanami had to save the child. He couldn't let that drunkard bitch dirty the child. Before anyone could say anything, Nanami leaped forward, quickly followed by Gojo. He pulled the man away, who was half done with getting naked and was about the pull up the child's skirt. The child was now crying loudly. Nanami punched the man away and decided to let Gojo take care of him. Nanami turned to the little girl. He fixed her skirt for her and tried to explain to her that he meant no harm. The child, as if understanding, crawled near to him. He hugged her as she clung into him the way a baby koala does to it's mama.
The child hid her face in Nanami's chest. Nanami felt as if someone had ripped his heart out and stomped on it. That man was going to hurt her that way. What has the world really come to? Is the society progressing if little girls are raped in alleys every night? Where are her parents? Why isn't there any police searching for a child? Why aren't the parents out here, looking for a child?
His thoughts were cut short by the sound of painful groaning. He watched as Gojo punched that man to ground, and then Gojo kicked him in the stomach. And the final move, Gojo kicked the man, hard, very hard, on his genitals.
This should be a lesson enough.
Nanami walked out of the alley to avoid more trauma to the girl. She hadn't stopped crying yet. Nanami comfortingly caressed her hair.
Soon her cried subsided into small huffs. Nanami sat her on the hood of his car. She sniffled a bit. He looked at her and was soon saddened. She was the most beautiful child he had ever seen. She had soft chubby cheeks. Her cheeks were stained with tears and red. The tiny lips trembled. And her eyes, they were so enchanting. So beautiful. Her doe eyes were wet from tears as well. Her little fingers tighty held Nanami's tie, not wanting the comfort to be gone. He tucked her hair behind her ears and wiped her cheeks.
Who could think of doing this to such a sweet baby?
"What's your name sweetheart?" Nanami asked as softly as he could.
She failed to answer. She was in such a bad condition that she couldn't utter a single word. She was so scared. Nanami quickly gave her some water. He held her bottle to her mouth and helped her drink.
She choked a little but was better when Nanami patted her back. He tried again. "Sweetie, tell me your name... We need to find your mommy and daddy right?"
Tears filled her eyes again. "I... I don- don't know. I- I promise I'll be good. Don't tell madam I cried, please!" She said in broken words. Nanami took a guess what her words meant. Her mother, or madam, didn't like when she cried. Of course a child will cry. Why wouldn't she. What parent tells their child too not cry instead of consoling. He figured that the mother was an incompetent parent, but he didn't want this to be true. The amount of trauma to this child is probably immense.
Before the child could break down again he shushed her, trying to distract her. He doubted her parents were taking efforts to find their child.
Soon she had calmed down and wasn't crying anymore. Nanami was hugging her tight but she didn't protest. She felt safe. She still held onto his tie, now with both of her tiny hands. Nanami, despite being the cold person he was, found this incredibly adorable.
Gojo finally returned to the car. "i took care of that slu-... That... Bad man.". Gojo tried to censor his sentences for the girl. He was surprised to see the baby Koala and the mama koala together. The sight was simply humorous. But what Nanami said next made his eyes go so wide he could substitute pool balls as eyes.
"Gojo, I want to adopt her in case her parents aren't found."
