Kento was with Yuji, Megumi and Nobara. Satoru was busy annoying Utahime. But Kento was pretty sure he'd join them soon when Utahime won't be annoyed the way Satoru wants her to be.

Nobara dodged a curse's attack. She was in no position to reach for her nails. She gripped her hammer tight and close to her, trying to assess next moves.

Kento turned around, and without looking, he kept propelling the curses away. He could kill them all in a jiffy if he wanted to. But if he kills all the curses, how would the children learn?

"Nobara chan, until you learn to sense curses, keep your eyes on them. And remember, you always have your weapon with you." He gave her a knowing smile.

She grinned in realisation. She dodged yet another blow from the curse and hurled her hammer towards the curse. The claw of hammer dug into the curse's skull. It quickly disintegrated into a pile of yucky substance.

"That was quite impressive Nobara san." Yuji complimented her and Megumi just nodded.

Kento frowned. They finished this way too early. He should've stalled this fight more. Maybe play around with the curses. Satoru had told them to not come back until the late evening. Nanami was at fault. He got carried away and destroyed the curses he shouldn't have. He should've let the students do it.

But you cannot blame him. He wanted to finish work as soon as possible and go to his sick daughter. Ukiyo had high fever. Kento wanted to stay besides her. But he couldn't. He felt bad but he promised her he'd be back soon. She didn't like being alone.

"Nanamin! Let's go eat! I'm hungry!! We've been fighting for hours now!" Nobara complained. Megumi suggested that they get out of this building first. It has way too much negative energy.

They left the budding. Nanami told Kugusaki "I'm sorry Nobara chan. I need to get home to my daughter. She's sick. We can get takeout though." Nobara agreed, a little weirded out at her cold instructor's worry for his daughter. "Let's go"

Just as they were about to leave, Yuji spoke up. "Actually, I'll pass. I'm sorry Nanami sensei, but I cannot come to your house. I just got a text, my girlfriend is a little sick and she's home alone. So I need to - KUGISAKI! NO! We're not gonna... do anything... You know! I'll just go over to her house to stay with her for a while. She doesn't like being alone."

"Huh, weird, my daughter's sick too. This whether is a pain honestly. Well Yuji, when you're done meeting with your girlfriend, you can just call us to ask where we are and we'll see what to do."

Yuji nodded and bid everyone goodbye. As they drove home, stopping by at multiple restaurants and getting dinner, a conversation arose.

"How old is your daughter sensei?" Nobara inquired. "Oh, she's just about your age. You haven't met her before have you, Nobara? but Megumi has a few times. You and Yuji haven't met her. I bet you, particularly, will get along with her. She doesn't have a lot of friends but she'll enjoy your company."

Nobara squealed in excitement. "Finally! A girlfriend worthy of my friendship!! These two boys were draining me of my personality honestly." Megumi looked back at her confused. "She's not gay Nobara, I didn't know you were..."

Kento chuckled. "That's just how girls address their female friends Megumi. 'Girlfriend'."

Megumi nodded in acknowledgement.
