"Wait, so you're telling me, that the thousand years old curse fell in love with Ukiyo, and now wants her?" Gojo asked, slightly shocked and honestly impressed. Nanami nodded. "Aw my poor baby Ukiyo. I mean she does have the charm for it honestly. But still it's surprising."
"WERE COMING INTO THE LIVIING ROOM." Nobara announced. She glided into the living room with Ukiyo on her back. Soon she was followed by Megumi, with Yuji on his back. They had told Nobara to always make sure the older men knew when they came in the living room, so that Ukiyo didn't actually hear something she wasn't supposed to.
"You made me lose Megumi!" Yuji whined. Megumi rolled his eyes, "Get off me before I make you lose your breathing."
Yuji scrambled off. Ukiyo giggled at this. The two older men smiled. Nobara really did hit off with Ukiyo very well. It warmed Nanami to see his daughter be such good friends with someone.
Gojo called them to sit down. Ukiyo sat between Nanami and Yuji, Nobara sat on the single couch, and Megumi sat besides Gojo.
"Look, darling. I know you and Yuji want to stay together, but like your father said, it's not safe. I'd usually say that your dad's just being anxious, but this time he's actually right. And if Sukuna, the curse who lives in Yuji's body, thinks that you make Yuji weak, he will either kill you, or kill Yuji. And I don't want either to happen. I think you've understood this much. Right?"
This was one of the only times Ukiyo had seen Satoru-oji so serious. But she knew how grave the situation was. She nodded as one of her hands found Yuji's, and held it tight.
"Well, here's the complexity. This morning when Kento went into your room where Yuji stayed over last night, *smirk*, okay! Okay I'm sorry. So, Nanami saw that Sukuna was playing guitar, supposedly for you. He even called you his woman and he called Kento father in law. So there may or may not be chances that he likes you. Now, as far as I've known Sukuna, if there is something he wants, he will get it. And if it's a person, he will definitely burn anything that stands in his way. So you have to be very careful and hide-"
Gojo's instructions were interrupted by Ukiyo. A lightbulb went off in her head. "I'll make Sukuna fall in love with me if that means I can stay with Yuji and keep all of you out of trouble."
Yuji was shocked. She... She would do that? For someone like him? She was willingly putting her life in danger just so she can love Yuji a little more. He didn't do anything to deserve her. She's an angel. She's so brave. But will he allow her to do it?
Nanami frantically spoke up. "No way! No. I am not letting you be with him Ukiyo. He's a dangerous being. He's a murderer. Never. You're too precious to me to sacrifice to that curse."
Ukiyo looked at her father, and she saw something she didn't know her father was capable of feeling. Fear. Nanami feared losing his daughter. The girl he raised with so much love, the girl he raised as if his own, was the only thing he cared for. Everything else could go and screw itself for all he cared. He only cared about his little girl. And no way in all hell would be allow his baby to be a pray to that psycopath.
She held Nanami's hands. "Appa, if Sukuna is the way you tell me he is, and if he really does want me, then he won't hurt me. And I'll always stay with you. This is not a sacrifice, it's a bargain. I'll be with Yuji, but I'll have to stay with sukuna, just sometimes. Papa I love him a lot, so please."
