First New Olympian Meeting

As a couple of weeks flew by, Percy and Katie found themselves sharing the same bedroom every night, wrapped in each other's embrace. Percy had adopted a more demonic and underworld-like attire, while Katie's wardrobe featured charming flower dresses. Together, they had seamlessly settled into their roles.

As the month drew to a close, the time had come for the first meeting with the newly appointed Olympians and Fates. Taking their seats on their respective thrones, they discussed the progress of their duties, finding that all was proceeding smoothly. The Fates had successfully chosen replacements for most of the absent Olympians, with the exception of Athena, Artemis, and Hestia.

It was then announced that the powers of Artemis, Athena, and Hestia would be bestowed upon Percy, as suitable replacements couldn't be found. Hestia's power of fire would complement Percy's domain in the underworld, while Athena's wisdom would aid him in his responsibilities. Additionally, Artemis' powers would assist in hunting down any monsters that breached the underworld from Tartarus, and Athena's library would prove invaluable in ruling alongside Katie.

Meanwhile, other Olympians like Hera, Demeter, Aphrodite, Dionysus, and Hephaestus had been replaced by nature spirits. The Fates commended everyone for their excellent work, but also reminded Hercules that assuming his father's role as King of Olympus didn't mean he should single-handedly repopulate the demigod camps. This revelation didn't surprise anyone, as Hercules was known to have his own set of challenges, and also had a problem about keeping his kid in his pants. 

The Fates then expressed, "We've detected a strange disturbance in our threads, and it's perplexing us. It may take years for us to unravel its significance." Will inquired, "Do you have any inkling of what it might entail?" "None at all, but its significance is undeniable," replied the Fates.

Upon their return, Percy and Katie found themselves with minimal tasks for the remainder of the week. Their first order of business was selecting a suitable room to house Athena's library. Once the location was decided within the palace, they turned their attention to further enhancements for the underworld.

Descending into the basement, they discovered a cavernous space. Inspired, Percy transformed it into a magnificent spa, complete with pools of both warm and cool water. The gentle steam created a serene atmosphere, while flowers and vines from Persephone's garden adorned the walls, lending a romantic ambiance to the space.

As they explored ways to enhance the underworld, Percy was keen on implementing entertainment options to boost the morale of the monsters and underworld spirits. Katie was intrigued but uncertain about Percy's plans until he proposed the idea of incorporating battle arenas.

Percy's vision involved creating multiple gladiator pits, each with its own unique theme. "We could have more than one theme," he suggested.

Curious, Katie inquired, "What are you thinking?"

"In the mountains, nestled between the homes of the nature spirits and worker monsters, we could establish a series of distinct areas. Picture it: one arena for water battles, another for fire, one for undead creatures, one for storms, another for earth-based combat, and one for magic," Percy explained.

"I love the idea of having various themed arenas, but I'm not comfortable with having the monsters too close to us," Katie expressed her concern.

Percy nodded, understanding her apprehension. "Don't worry," he reassured her. "The monsters and underworld spirits reside in homes built within the mountains, far removed from us. My plan is to construct the gladiator pits in the valley between the mountains, shielded from our view and out of our way unless we choose to visit them."

Relieved, Katie agreed, "Okay, I'm onboard with that."
