MY EX | CHANLIX STORY [COMPLETED]

17 year old Felix's eyes began to blur from the accumulating tears that were forming, as he placed a basket on the doorsteps of an orphanage, which was carrying his one-week-old baby inside.

He gave his son one last kiss on the forehead and cheeks, before quickly ringing the doorbell to alert the owners of the orphanage and running out of there, heading towards a car waiting for him.

As he got inside the passenger seat of the car, a woman's voice could be heard in the driver's seat saying, "You did the right thing son!", before driving away with the weeping Felix who kept on looking out the window, as his heart broke piece by piece.

5 Years Later:

Felix who was now a professional wedding planner in Australia with the help of his grandparents, threw his tired body on his bed at the shared apartment with his best friend and assistant Hyunjin from a long day at work. "Take a shower first, then rest", Hyunjin told Felix who gave him a frown.

"I'm too tired Jinnie, I literally can't even move my body" he said in exhaustion. Hyunjin smirked before fetching a big envelope on the kitchen counter and placing it in front of Felix's face. Felix looked up at the envelope then back at Hyunjin with a tilted head.

"What is this?", he asked curiously at the grinning Hyunjin who pulled the envelope away when Felix tried to take it. "The results of your son's whereabouts", he stated, causing Felix to immediately sit up with widened eyes.

Felix tried to grab the envelope again, but Hyunjin was too quick for him. He moved back and placed the envelope behind his back, "Take a shower first, then eat something so you can have strength to read this", he told Felix who looked at him with a worried expression.

"Trust me", Hyunjin stated. Felix wiped a falling tear, then gave Hyunjin a nod before heading towards his bathroom. After taking a 5-minute shower, Felix came out of the shower with his damp blond hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a black t-shirt and shorts.

He headed straight to Hyunjin in the kitchen who had already prepared his dinner with some wine, "Can I have it now!", he demanded with his hand held out. Hyunjin exhaled sharply seeing his eager look, "Eat First!", he commanded.

"Dammit Hyunjin, how can I have an appetite right now, give it to me, please", Felix pleaded, making Hyunjin take another breath before handing him the envelope. Felix quickly grabbed it with shaking hands and took a seat at the living room couch before opening it.

Hyunjin took a sigh before bringing his dinner and wine, placing it infront of Felix on the coffee table. He watched on as his best friend read the documents inside and swallowed a lump on his throat when he saw Felix's reaction.

Felix's hands were trembling, and tears escaped his eyes as he continued to read the documents in his hands. All of a sudden, he spoke, "Have you read these?" Felix asked his friend in a low tone while his eyes were on the documents. "Yes", Hyunjin replied, while Felix's hands trembled even more before dropping the documents on the floor, as he bursts out crying with his hands covering his face.

"Felix it's not that bad, at least we found him", Hyunjin tried to sympathize with him, while Felix snatched the glass of wine in front of him, gulping it down in one go. Hyunjin became silent and sad at the same time witnessing his best friend's reaction to the news.

They sat there in awkward silence before Felix began to burst out crying again, "Hyunjin, I don't understand, how...how did Chan find out about our son, he was in the army when I found out I was pregnant and he hadn't returned when I placed him at the orphanage?", he asked him.

"Well, brace yourself, my source who happens to be Chan's best friend named Changbin/ChangJin said, when Chan didn't hear from you after months entering the army, he got worried and had this friend of his check up on you. Apparently your parents lied to this guy that you were away at your grandparent's ' in Australia the time you were pregnant, and that you also you lost your phone, but he says they didn't give him your new number when he asked for it.....

"when he told Chan about this, it made him sad but also suspicious, therefore insisting that his friend continue to spy on your house since he knew how your parents never supported your relationship in the first place. Then one day Changbin sees you and mom heading out of the house while carrying a big basket....

"so this Chang guy followed your car and saw you carry out that basket and leaving it on the doorsteps of some orphanage while bawling your eyes out. The minute he saw that it was your baby after you've left, he immediately contacted Chan, telling him everything, causing Chan to immediately desert the army dishonorably, in order to take care of the baby since he lived with his sick mother who won't be able to, so that's how Chan knew about the baby", Hyunjin explained, causing the weeping Felix to quickly get up in grief and heartbreak, heading towards the big glass windows.

Hyunjin also stood up and went over to the sobbing Felix, embracing him with a hug, "Shhhh....don't cry Felix, I know it's not exactly the news you wanted, but at least your son is okay", Hyunjin stated. Felix pulled back looking at Hyunjin in sorrow.

"Hyunjin, you don't get it, that means that Chan was dishonorably discharged for deserting the army, do you know what shame and bullying you get from that? That's why i didn't even want him to know about our baby, call me selfish but i was thinking of him and his sick mother", Felix explained in sorrow.

Felix kneeled down crying his heart out, "How am I supposed to face the both of them now?" he questioned himself in remorse and misery.
