MY EX | CHANLIX STORY [COMPLETED]

Chan got back to his new apartment he bought two years back, thanks to the new managerial position he got from his soon to be father-in-law. After placing his son in bed, he marched to his kitchen opening his cupboards searching for something, once he found the whiskey bottle, he gulped it a few times before placing it back in the cupboard.

He leaned against the counter thinking to himself, 'why is he back, is he trying to torment him, or is he trying to provoke me, maybe he just wants to see C.J. due to guilt and regret, he can forget about it!', Chan told himself and didn't hear Lisa enter the kitchen calling on him.

Lisa finally stood in front of Chan, startling him, "Jeez...don't sneak up on me like that!", he snapped at her. "Well, if you answered my calls or heard me calling out your name I wouldn't have to, what's going on with you Chan?", she asked him out of concern.

Chan tilted his head staring at her with his jaw clenched and eyebrow raised, "Why was my ex doing there Lisa?", he questioned her. Lisa widened her eyes at Chan, "Do you think if I knew he was your Ex, I would deliberately call him here, what do you take me for Chan, even Sue didn't know!" she snapped at him.

After taking a deep breath in and out, Chan held her hands while she looked away sulking, "You right, I'm sorry Lisa, i guess he planned this himself, anyways you've cancelled the contract right, you gonna find another planner, right?", he asked Lisa who looked away not responding.

"LISA!!?", Chan shouted out her name in frustration. "Don't yell at me, we already paid them and signed the contract, plus it's hard to get other great wedding planner right now Chan", she explained to Chan who let go of her hands and looked away in exasperation.

Lisa folded her arms at Chan's reaction, "He's just planning our engagement and wedding, why does it bother you, unless...unless you still have feelings for him?", she snapped at him again while Chan gave her a look in displeasure.

"Are you serious right now? Are you listening to yourself? How can I have feelings for someone who abandoned me and my son....HUH!!!?", he shouted causing her to flinch at his behavior, "DON'T YELL AT ME!", she shouted back before turning and leaving the distressed Chan.

(LATER ON AT EVENING)

"Wow man, I would have done the same thing if I was in your place, can't believe he came back, did you ask him why?", Changbin questioned Chan while they were having a beer in the living room couch. "I don't want to know Bin, he left me, left our son to be handled by strangers, i don't care what the reason has, we didn't deserve that", Chan growled out.

"You right Chan, and I'm with you on that, but I still think you need to hear him out", Changbin said, causing Chan to frown at him, "Okay, give me one good reason, why, why should I waste my time to hear his reasons?", he asked Changbin who turned to face him.

"Closure, for closure man, you can't move on harboring anger like this your whole life, plus I know one day C.J. would like to get to know his real mother, who gave birth to him. If not for you, do it for him, you don't want bad blood with his mother, what if C.J. forgives him?".

Chan took another gulp at his 4th can of beer, "That's why I don't want him near my son, EVER!", he blurted out making Changbin shake his head. Chan seeing his reaction furrowed his eyebrows at him, "What Changbin....Spit it out!", he demanded angrily.

"Fine, In my opinion, I think deep down, you still love him, but you want to make him hurt like he did you, am I right?", Changbin blurted out irritatedly. "You said, Lisa asked you the same thing, Felix is here to work, then why are you getting so worked up if you over him Chan?" he continued.

Chan just chuckled looking at him in disbelief, "F*ck you man, you don't know what I went through, you don't know Sh*t!", he said to Changbin while chuckling again before taking another chug at his beer.

Changbin stood up gathering his things, "Wonder why you even called me over to talk if you not gonna listen anyways, I'm out man, and that's enough beer, you have a kid in the house for goodness' sakes", Changbin reprimanded before leaving.

Chan ruffled his hair in annoyance and got up from the couch, gathering the empty beer cans to throw in the trash-bin. He then took out a glass and drank a whole glass water before heading towards his sleeping son's room.

As he sat next to his cute sleeping son, he caressed his adorable face, "You felt him didn't you buddy, you knew somehow he was here in Korea though you've never met or seen him didn't you?", Chan said before covering his face with his hands, "I'm so hurt bud, I don't know how to forgive him.....

"I loved him so much, more than anything in the world, I even planned to marry him once I returned from the army, but, he just left us to suffer alone when we needed him the most, he left us to go pursue a good life while we suffer", Chan uncovered his face looking back his cutely snoring son.

"What am I doing talking to myself?", he said wiping his tears before slowly getting up to place a kiss on his son's forehead, then headed to his bedroom in exhaustion from this crazy and surprising day.
