Few days after Felix received the news regarding his son and Chan, he and Hyunjin were still figuring out how to approach him. Suddenly when Felix was doing yoga at the apartment, Hyunjin barged in his room excitedly, "Felix, you gonna love me for this!", he blurted out of breath, while handing his phone over to Felix who had his eyes close but immediately opened them.

Felix swiftly snatched the phone from Hyunjin, reading what looked like an email.

Felix looked at Hyunjin who was grinning from ear to ear, "Huh...what did i say, I told you you'll love me for this, we not only going to get lot of money for this job offer, but you'll also get a chance to see Chan and your son", he stated in elation, but his smile quickly faded the minute he saw Felix sob in his hands.

When Hyunjin instantly realized why his friend was crying, he sat down next to him patting his back, "I'm such a Pabo, I missed the part about Chan being the groom", he said in sadness and regret as he continued to pat Felix's back.

Once Felix regained himself, he wiped away his tears and looked at Hyunjin with half a smile, "Thank you Hyunjin, this a chance for me to at least meet my son and bond with him if...if Chan will allow me. You've done good and I'm grateful for this", he told him sincerely.

"What are you gonna do about Chan getting married, will you be okay?", he asked Felix whose eyes wondered in thought before facing his friend again. "I guess Chan has moved on, and I have to respect that, this about my son now, that's why I'll agree to this job", he said getting up.

Hyunjin got up also still feeling bad for his friend. "You still love him don't you?", he asked Felix who turned to his friend with tears forming in his eyes, "Does it matter, I'm just happy that Chan is doing good, I was really worried how he and my son were coping after my...you know, but he's getting married, ontop of that to a popular artist in South Korea, what else can I say", he said while wiping his tears, heading towards his bathroom.

'I have to help Felix get his man and son back, but how?', Hyunjin Saad to himself before walking towards Felix's bathroom. When he was about to knock on the door to check on him, he stopped his steps when he heard Felix's low sobs inside, causing Hyunjin to let him be.

5 Years Ago:

Chan new Felix from their neighborhood when he was 13 years, Felix 12 years, and they fell In love ever since. Thought they didn't attend the same school, they made time for each, bunked together and spend every chance they can together.

When Chan was 18 years old, he decided to enter the army for a better job in the future, but mainly to help out his sick mother now with free medical care if you join the military, not knowing Felix was already pregnant. he Felix stopped texting and calling, It hurt him deeply when he learned from his best friend Changbin, that Felix has moved to Australia to live his grandparents.

His heart completely broke when he learned that Felix didn't tell him about the pregnancy, and instead decided to place their own flesh and blood at an orphanage without notifying him as the father. Chan had no choice but to ask to be released from the army immediately.

The news quickly spread as he was called an army deserter, causing other fellow soldiers to bully and beat him up as a goodbye present, but he told himself to be strong for his mother and lonely baby thrown by his selfish boyfriend at the orphanage.

After Chan's quick return home and retrieving his baby from the orphanage, Life felt like an un-ending hell as the public bullied and labeled him as a disgrace in the country. Taking care of his sick mother and a baby wasn't easy either, since he had to quickly look for a job, which was hard as a dishonorably discharged soldier, in order to put food on the table, milk, diapers and clothes for his baby and provide medication for his sick mother.

He got lucky when his high school crush 'Lisa', got him a job as a cashier at her father's supermarket after a lot of convincing when she spotted him in a park one-day, as Chan was seated at a bench in distress, with tears in his eyes while carrying his then 4-month-old baby.

When Chan's mother died, he had to move to a cheaper place (with the help of Lisa of course) to accommodate him and his son. They began dating when his son C.J. (Christopher Junior) turned 3 years old, though Lisa wasn't good with kids.

Lisa was pursuing music when she bumped into Chan at the park and eventually became a popular female singer in Korea afterwards. She then went on to propose marriage to Chan who was hesitant at first, then ended up saying yes, as long as she accept them living together once they married, which she agreed to.

Chan continued working as a cashier and ended up becoming the manager at her father's supermarket, though at the start, he received lot of side eyes, backlash and complaints regarding him as an army deserter. But the bullying quickly died when Lisa became famous and his fiancé.
