MY EX | CHANLIX STORY [COMPLETED]

13:05pm.....

Felix, Hyunjin and Sue were now in silence at the boardroom after hashing out everything. Felix was gloomy at missing his son and not being able to fetch him. He just gave up after sending messages to Chan who never responded.

'Why would he do that, we spoke so well and in agreement last night, why would he ignore me like that, even if it's not his fault, at least he could respond to my texts, or did he change his mind about me getting close with my son...', Felix asked himself in his mind feeling hurt.

Sue sighed looking at the morosed Felix, "I'm sorry Felix, you went through alot, both you and Chan. But I'm relieved knowing your full story now. And come to think of it, us meeting was by chance and luck because we contacted you guys because we loved your work. So I won't get in your way with bonding with your son as long as it doesn't get in the way of your work. And don't worry, I'm gonna keep it between us and won't tell Lisa", she said with a smile making Felix smile a bit back at her.

Suddenly, the doors opened as the anxious looking Chan entered with Lisa who was clutching tightly at his hand with a bored look. They both quickly took their seats next to Sue opposite Felix and Hyunjin. And Chan was directly opposite the sad and stricken Felix who was glaring at him in hurt while Chan avoided his eyes before clearing his throat.

"We apologize for being late, we can start the meeting", he blankly said looking at Sue who nodded her head. Hyunjin quickly glanced at Felix who couldn't take his eyes off Chan in dispair. Lisa glared at Felix scoffing, "Chan we don't have to explain ourselves, they are getting paid to wait on us, even if we 10 hours late, it's not like somebody died", she rolled her eyes while Chan clenched his Jaws facing only the screen projector infront of them.

Felix huffed lightly shaking his head and looking away, while Sue and Hyunjin glanced at each other nodding in agreement with beginning their meeting.

50 minutes later...

"Hmmm.... I like the designs and plans for the engagement and wedding venues. What do you think love", Lisa asked Chan who's mind seemed to be wondering else where as his eyes never diverting from the screen slide infront. "Chan love?", she called out snapping him back. "Uh.. yeah, whatever you want I'm okay with", he said in a low tone looking at her before quickly facing the screen again.

Felix who was a bit calm now, was quietly facing the screen as well with a blank expression. He was beyond lucky since his co-worker Hyunjin took over explaining their proposal for the designs and plans. Hyunjin and him knew if it were him taking over, he would be talking and explaining with tears in his eyes from the pain and hurt of thinking about his son that he missed so much right now.

Hyunjin cleared his throat before continuing with this intolerable meeting that was uncomfortable af.... "So since you said pink nude is your favorite color but you undecided on which shade to mix it with for the theme, we were thinking a combination and blend of pink nude with the expresso shot. Those colors are unique, vibrant and not too in your face, they'll definitely stand out, unless you want another sample of the shades", Hyunjin said before furrowing his eyes at Lisa who was now sneering at Felix with a smirk.

As Hyunjin was about to continue, Lisa raised up her hand before pointing her finger at Felix, "Mr Lee, you've been awfully quite today. Any input on the color theme proposal for me?", she smirked as she was loving the tension he was witnessing between Felix and Chan whatever the cause maybe.

Sue and Hyunjin nervously glanced at Felix who faced Lisa blankly. Felix knew right then, that no matter how much he was starting to hate Lisa now, he needs to be professional at the end of the day, because they are also here to work. And they can't let down Sue who recommended them to this b*tch and putting her trust in them.

Felix smiled before clearing his throat to speak, "These colors will make you the talk of the town as we promised, you will definitely look distinctive and exquisite in them. We were thinking some of your bridesmaids outfits be in pink nude and some in expresso hot while the groomsmans can wear ties matching their partners. But that's just our suggestion for the theme color for the day, what do you think Miss Manobal?", he asked Lisa with a smile who's smirk faded while thinking.

"Fine,... I like them", she blatantly said looking at her nails with a bored expression, while Sue and Hyunjin smiled in relief. Sue then faced Felix, "I love them too, now we going somewhere. Gentlemen, please email me the theme colors samples so I can send it to the fashion team who'll be designing all the bridal party outfits. Great work guys, let's meet next week for an update on plans", she said happily.

Lisa quickly stood up then frowned as she faced Chan who was still seated next to her, quiet like a robot. "Love I'm jet legged, can we go have lunch before I return back to my place?", she whined, causing Chan to stand up bowing to the rest while Lisa irritatedly strutted her heels out of the boardroom as he followed her behind.

Felix then suddenly exhaled sharply while laying his elbows on the table as he covered his face in his hands, letting out a cry he's been holding on ever since this meeting started. Sue looked down sadly while Hyunjin went over to embrace his friend in sorrow as he cried on.
