All you saw was darkness; you had seemed to hold onto Vanitas more. He had continued to plunge further more into the darkness making you feel a cold rush of air hit your face as if you had took a jump out of a sky. There was silence between you two, and you were not sure of how to react to his sudden actions of taking you away from Sora and the others.

"Don't worry," He had encouraged, making you lift your head up to look up at him. You could barely focus on him due to the rushing air, but you could faintly see his amber eyes staring back into you pair of [Color of eyes].

"We'll be there soon, just keep holding on. "

You curtly nodded and looked away, not really finding something to stare at in the darkness. You felt shivers coursing through your body, causing you to shake more frequently. You had begun to see a light as you both came to your destination (you assumed). The rushing of air had slowly come to a stop and your feet touched a solid ground. Vanitas had let go of your hand and walked towards a pair of giant metallic doors that had belonged to his mansion and pushed them open, looking back at you. You looked around yourself and saw large, but well-trimmed plants, and a giant red rose bush; he only sighed and stepped away from the door and went towards you.

"I see you like my roses, would you like one?" Vanitas asked, taking your hand into his. You nodded smiling a little, ignoring the slight blush surfing through your cheeks. Vanitas chuckled, giving you a smile in return, which had surprised you since you have heard about his bad-boy attitude. Sure, he had lived in a gloomy place, and been misunderstood for whom he is, but that just gave you a whole new look on this person.

He went to the bush and carefully picked a newly bloomed rose from the bush, but he accidently pricked him on the finger from a thorn. He drew back, staring at his finger as it slowly bled out a few drops of blood. You came to him and gave him a look.

"Damn," He cursed, shaking his hand, ignoring the slight stinging pain.

"Your hurt, let, me help you," You offered, grabbing his hand. He yanked away and shook his head causing you to be a little confused.

"No, this is nothing. Just leave it. I'll be fine," He said, going back to the bush picking you a fresh rose. He rubbed his hand on his dark pants, and took your rose into the palm of his hands. When you did not look, he turned your rose into glass.

"[Name]," Vanitas had called, grabbing your attention. You spun your body around to see a smiling Vanitas holding a special rose in his hands.

You came closer to him and gasped in surprised, "How did you do that?"

He opened your palms and carefully placed the rose into your hands. It felt so warm to you, and all you felt was your heart's beat slowly increase. You shook your head at the sudden emotion you had felt and looked down at your rose. Unaware of your inner conflictions, Vanitas placed a hand over the rose.

"Do you like it?" He asked.

You nodded, gaining a shiver from the cold breeze that had circulated around the area. Leafs had blown all around, and sometimes almost hitting you in the face.

"I do, thank you."

He wrapped his arm around your waist and directed to you to the front door of the mansion. You wiggled under his embrace, not quite comfortable. He looked down at you as you continued to hold the flower. Walking into the home, you felt an eerie feeling circling through the hallways and your heart only beaten faster. Vanitas felt your tension, and he pulled you closer.

"W-what is this place?" You asked looking around to see old paintings and large suits of armor standing in a line down the hall. Lifting a hand, and with a flick of a wrist Vanitas made all of the candles light down the hall, making the hallway dimly lit.
