Unbeatable/The Best ⟪M.R.⟫ -Part 2-

***The day after dueling Mattheo Riddle***

You were walking to your classes like you normally do while everyone avoided you. Word about your capabilities got around and now everyone was scared about what you could do. Even Cho Chang and Astoria Greengrass hadn't said a mean word to you like they normally did. You didn't like how everyone was now treating you. That was why you had kept your wandless and powerful magic a secret all these years at Hogwarts.

You walked into Defense Against the Dark Arts to find the dueling platform still out from the day before. You looked around and found Professor Snape standing on top of the platform with his arms folded. This could mean one of two things...Snape was angry that the platform was still out, or we would have duels for class.

"Everyone quiet." Snape hissed causing the class to settle down. "Today we will be having wizarding duels since the boys of Slytherin forgot to put the dueling platform away yesterday." Snape hisses while his eyes roamed around the students.

Everyone's eyes grew wide while some looked your way in fear. You cast your eyes down not wanting to bring more attention to yourself.

"Now, who would like to volunteer?" Snape asked while his eyes roamed over everyone. Everyone kept silent and still while looking around to see who would volunteer willingly. Gaps were heard as Mattheo Riddle walked onto the platform with a smirk on his face. 

"Not surprising." Snape said in his foil tone like normal. "And who is willing to dual Mr. Riddle?"

"Actually professor, I wanted to dual Y/n Y/l/n. If she's willing to, that is." He said while looking straight at you. You grew confused as to why he would want another dual with you. You had spared his life and went easy on him in fear of hurting the curly haired boy.

'Miss Y/l/n?" Snape asked knowing about your abilities and the rumors that were spread. You sigh while nodding your head. You walk onto the platform while the rest of the students back up in fear of getting hurt by your magic. Snape walked off the platform and stood in front of the rest of the students.

"Wands ready." Mattheo grabbed his wand but as you went for yours Mattheo spoke.

"I want you to use your wandless magic. If you don't mind." Mattheo spoke with a look that said he wanted the challenge. You sigh once again and pocket your wand with a nod.

"Don't blame me if you end up in the hospital again." You say while extending your right arm.

"I don't think I will." He said pointing his wand at you.

"Begin." Snape said before Mattheo fired a spell. it flew past you and hit the wall behind you just like yesterday. This caused Mattheo to smile while he aimed his wand above you. You grew confused before a rumbling sound was heard and felt. You looked up and saw that the ceiling was starting to crumble. You looked around in fear for everyone's life.

You brought both of your hands up towards the ceiling while releasing your barrier. You closed your eyes and stopped the rumbling while fixing the ceiling to the way it was. Once everything was back to normal, you open your eyes with a sigh of relief. You look over at Mattheo to see him with a shocked look. It was almost like he was proud of what you could do.

You were breathing heavy while waving your hand in the air to make your barrier again so you could recuperate. You sat down and wiped the sweat from your forehead. Mattheo walked over to you while he pockets his wand.

"Are you okay, Y/n?" he asked while using your first name. You frowned while trying to catch your breath.

"I thought we were dualling. Not having small talk." You say with a smile.

"Well, I'm obviously out matched if you can fix the entire ceiling without using your wand, don't ya think?" He said with a chuckle and a smile.

"Yeah, but why are you not trying to attack me still. I'm obviously worn out and can't keep up with fighting much longer." You say while standing to your feet.

"Because even though you're tired, I'm pretty sure you could still defeat me with one spell if you truly wanted." He said while tilting his head slightly. His words cause you to smile while taking down your barrier that was still up. Mattheo caught on and walked to stand in front of you.

"I take the defeat and admit that you're the best and unbeatable dualist of Hogwarts. But only if you admit that you have feelings for me." He says while extending his hand out. You begin to blush while averting your gaze.

"I don't know what you mean, Ri-"

"Mattheo." He said cutting your off. "Call me Mattheo, please." He said while looking at you with adoring eyes.

"Ok...Mattheo." You say while blushing harder. "Call me Y/n."

"I was planning on calling you something else, if you'd allow it that is?" He said with a smirk that was driving your crazy with lust.

"W-what's that?" You asked while averting your gaze again.

"My girlfriend." He said with a chuckle. You quickly look at him to see him with a look of love and adoration. You smile brightly and nod your head.

"I'd like that, Mattheo." He smiles at your words. He turns to the rest of the students with a proud smile while he speaks.

Ya hear that! The Unbeatable Dualling Girl and The Best Dualling Boy are a couple. Mess with us and you'll face our magic skills." Mattheo says while laughing only to cause the rest of the students to have looks of fear. You smile while shaking your head.

"Don't worry, everyone. I'll keep him in check." You say while slapping Mattheo across the back of his head.

"Hey!"

"Don't scare them!" You yell which started another argument between the two of you.

"There they go again." Pansy says while shaking her head.

"Yeah but at least now they know how they both feel." Blaise says with a smile.

"Students of Hogwarts...watch out for the unbeatable and best couple in arguing." Theodore says with a smile and a shake of his head.
