Meanwhile, back in Trolberg, Thomas and the others were still looking for Hilda. They've looked everywhere she liked, but she wasn't in any of those places.
Edward: "Oh, this is awful."
David: "Where could she be?"
Frida: "I don't even know."
Thomas was still shaken up about the officers getting injured near the mountain.
Thomas: "I... Um..."
Edward: "Thomas? What's gotten into you?"
Thomas: "What if Hilda became a troll again?!"
Johanna: "There's no way that happened, Thomas. Is there?"
Thomas: "Was Baba in Hilda's bed?"
Johanna: "No."
Thomas: "Did anyone hear about the Changeling Spell being casted on her?"
Edward: "No, Thomas."
Thomas: "What if... What if..."
Frida: "Snap out of it, Thomas!"
Thomas: "I can't!"
Thomas: "If the officers of Safety Patrol are injured, and Hilda's gone, what if the Night of the Trolls, and Hilda hanging out by the mountain caused Hilda to turn back into a troll?!"
Edward: "Thomas! Calm down."
Thomas tried to clam down."
Thomas: "I'm sorry. It's just that I'm still shaken up about that incident not that long ago."
Frida: "That's understandable, Thomas."
Thomas: "Me and Percy will go into the mountain, and find her."
Edward: "Be careful, Thomas."
Thomas: "Always am."
