Meanwhile, Thomas and Percy were on their way to the inside of the mountain to look for Hilda.

Thomas: "I hope she's okay."

Percy: "I'm sure she is, Thomas."

When they got inside, they split up. Thomas went down the left, and Percy went down the right. Both were determined to find their friend. Thomas looked around. He saw trolls, rock, waterfalls, streams, but he couldn't find Hilda anywhere.

Thomas: "Oh, where could Hilda be?"

Meanwhile, Percy saw a little troll.

Percy: "I recognize you. You're Baba, right?"

Baba: "Baba."

Trylla: "Percy. I don't think you should stay here."

Percy: "Why not, Trylla?"

Trylla: "It's best if I don't say."

Percy: "Oh, okay. Bye."

Back with Thomas, he was looking around still, then he saw a track they led downwards.

Thomas: "I wonder what's down there."

He went down that track, and came to a big room.

Thomas: "Whoa."

He then saw... The Mountain King!

Thomas: "It's him!"

Mountain King: "Now, Hilda. When you are 18, you will take my place, and you will be crowned Queen of the Trolls. Would you like that, my dear?"

Hilda: "Yes. I would like that. I never liked it in the city."

Thomas was shocked.

Thomas: "Oh, no! I gotta tell Percy!"
