Bane
It was the next day now, and Selene as well as I stood outside her parents house at four in the morning.
Her parents were still asleep; her dad didn't het up for work until five and her mom slept in until seven, though she was planning for this.
I gazed over at her as she glared angrily at the house, tossing a small smoke bomb in her hand and catching it over and over again.
I smiled then. "You ready?"
She glanced back at me. "Ready as I'll ever be."
"Good," I replied, leaning against a tree. "Show me."
She only smiled darkly and picked up a small paint can that I gave her this morning, and she shook it before tossing off the can.
And she started spraying the grass with the green paint, eyes darkening as she moved around the front lawn, making sure everything was covered.
My brows arched when I read the words:
You can't control me anymore. I don't belong to you.
And for what you have done, you will pay.
I will make you pay.
I will never put my trust in you again.
When she was done covering the lawn in words, she stepped back to me and spared me a glance. "Should I do this?"
I just smirked and nodded to her parents' window.
She just sighed and gazed up, and another dark smile crossed her face as she picked up the smoke bomb and tore off the safety with her teeth.
Ooh... hot.
While it started spraying, she yelled out and chucked it toward the house, and I smiled up as it broke through her parents' bedroom window, and she glanced back at me, smiling when we heard two panicked screams.
I held my hand out. "Let's go."
She took it and we walked down the street together.
