The White Chrysanthemum's Tenth Petal
Byakuran stood in front of double door with the crest of Ellen Family engraved on it. The door opened and she entered the dark room, "Yuki won the battle, just as we expected." Jewel marks slowly appeared on his bright lavender eyes as he stares at the woman floating inside of a huge sphere that is full of water.
Amethyst eyes that holds regrets and sadness on them as the owner of those eyes look at the person who has the same eyes as his, "You shouldn't have done all of this.. It was not worth it." A bitter smile appeared on his eyes, "I am not the one to say that..."
Byakuran walks to the table near the door and placed a scroll on it, "The things written here are the ones that Yuki wants to be done if she won, and she won her battle. I can't make the other things here come true but I know you can." He turn to the woman who is not responding to him, "This might the last time I will see and talk to you... my sister."
He looks at the unconscious Hayami floating at the water inside the sphere with softness and adoration. He walk under the sphere and lift his hand, coating it with green mana and piercing the sphere. The sphere popped and the water inside fall to the ground with great impact, however the room didn't even shook from that. Byakuran casted a round shield around his body and the water didn't came to him and the walls. The water's waves rocked back and forth across the room and it then disappeared, leaving the room dry like water wasn't in the room just seconds before.
Byakuran stopped his spell and came to the center of the room where a woman with wet black hair and in a white halter dress lay, almost pale but still breathing. He kneel beside Hayami and hold her head gently, taking her upper body from the floor and summons a white coat with Orchid stem and leaves sewn on it's sleeves and silver outlines at the end of it's sleeves and bottom, a Orchid flower pattern on it's chest and a brooch of Gesso Family crest on its right sleeve and Ellen Family crest on it's left sleeve.
"This is my coat... This should keep you safe for a while." He placed the coat on top of her wet body and look at her state, "I'm sorry...." He lift his hand and touched her cheeks with his fingertips, "Please have a good life with Tsunayoshi, sister..." Oh how broken his voice is... He wish them the happiest life, with his sacrifice... A life he never got is his wish for all the Court members.
Yuki was right... He is still soft.

Sapphire eyes opened and immediately knows that she is at an unfamiliar place, 'Byakuran's room?' Yuki's immediate thought, because she was with Byakuran before this. She can't believe she have to think of loving Byakuran..., 'I hope Tsunayoshi and the others are safe.'
"You are awake, Yuki." She flick her head to the door of the room, 'I didn't feel him!' Her eyes widen as she hold her breathe. Byakuran noticed her body backing from him, "Are you perhaps uncomfortable?" He asked kindly to her.
"No."
"I see.." Byakuran walk to the side of the bed and can feel Yuki's eyes on him, "I won't do anything to you. Do not worry."
He sat at the end of the bed, "I miss you, Yuki..." He said looking at her with loneliness, "Did you know? You died in my arms." He smiles at her, "I'm sure you are curious of how you died."
"Is it not of childbirth?"
Byakuran blinked, "How did you know that?" And realization came to him, "Oh, Hayami's letter must've reached you. Then you must've known about the other reason? How your physical body died."
Yuki looks down, "I do not hate him for killing me, I am glad that I didn't made the wrong decision. I took him to kill me after all." Yuki looks at the window of the room as the full moon luminate the room, "You really haven't moved on? That you still want to be loved by me before your death."
