You were sitting at the kitchen table when you hear the front door slam and heavy footsteps enter the house. You knew it was Paul, your boyfriend, and judging by his attitude, it had been a rough day at the studio. He came in and plopped down beside you at the table.
"I hate 'em." He mumbled into his hands.
"No, you don't. You know you love them deep down." You told him.
Paul sighed. "I know, love. They just get on my nerves sometimes."
"It happens, Paul." You answered.
"I'm just thankful that I get to see your pretty face when I come home." Paul smiled and you sat in his lap, placing a kiss on his lips. He moaned against your lips.
"Getting excited there, are we?" You said to him.
"I just love your kisses."
"Would you like to relax tonight?" You asked him.
"Yes please." Paul responded hugging you tight.
"Let me go get something ready then." You told Paul as you got off his lap and went upstairs to the bathroom. You turned on the hot water and let it fill up the large bath tub that you and Paul had. You put in vanilla scented bubble bath and let the water continue to rise. When it was finished, you undressed yourself and settled into the bath.
"Paulieeeeee..." You called out to him. "Why don't you come up to the bath room?"
You heard Paul practically jogging up the stairs and he entered the bath room to find you in the tub, elbows resting on the side.
"Care to join me, Paulie?" You asked.
"Of course, my dear."
Paul removed his clothes, shut the door, and turned out the light, leaving the two of you in the dark. Paul slid in the tub behind you and you laid back against his chest.
"Thank you, love. I really needed this."
"You're welcome, Paul. I love you." You told him. He snaked his arms around your waist and placed delicate kisses on your neck.
"Mmmm." You hummed in response to his sweet gestures. He wrapped his legs around you and you relaxed against him. Paul continued placing gentle kisses on your neck and shoulders.
"I'm never letting you go." Paul said as the two of you just cherished each other's company and the feeling of love in the air.
