Hey guys if you're saying that this is the worst story ever- yeah. It's my first one so D:
Well I guess you can tell that it's one of the last chapters of my... novella? enjoy and please vote comment share and follow because I totally need that motivation.
This book is dedicated to Chocolate8848 for being such an amazing friend.
Also thank you VaniWani for following me! I feel like no ones been following me recently so yay :DDDD
I had bags under my eyes when I got up from a 3 hour sleep. Hanging out with Chris was fun, but I had to suffer the consequences when I got home. I wasted one whole hour telling Libby all the details (She insisted) and had to finish 2 essays and loads of other homework. To top that, I also needed to finish tutoring homework by today and practice the cello.
I think you can imagine the mess I was in today. Too bad its not like the stories where you have an amazing hairdresser makeup artist friend where they help you fix your hair and put makeup on you. I had to do that all by myself, drag Libby out of her sleeping bag and make breakfast for the two of us. Libby wasn't the perfect guest. And I suck at being a mom. Not that I am one. So... I can't have high expectations.
After brushing my teeth and tying my hair into a messy bun, I grabbed my backpack and granola bar and ran out. Libby was trying to find her car keys. We were that unorganized. I grabbed her another granola bar in case she forgot, and we stumbled into the car. Hopefully we wouldn't be late for school. I checked my reflection in the window and... lets say I wasn't looking my best.
We barely made it to school on time. The moment I planted my butt on a chair, the teacher walked in. Phew! Then Chris popped down next to me.
*cue the immediate awkwardness*
"Hey," he gave me a small grin.
I could feel the temperature increasing rapidly.
"Um hi..." I said. And thankfully the teacher started speaking.
I can't believe he's acting like nothing happened. He just so... weird.
It's really confusing cuz i don't even know if we're dating or not. One moment we're making out(well only once) and then we're friends; then in P.E. we're competitors like before. Life is strange. Which gives me another reason that accepting the challenge was NOT a good idea. Like, really. First of all, if I didn't have a crush, my report cards would be all A pluses. Which isn't happening right now. I got my first B!!! *SCREAMS*
"Earth to Alice? Earth to-" Chris waves his hands in front of my face, amused.
I pretended nothing happened.
"Yeah?" I said lazily poking him in the shoulder causally. He didn't flinch. Luckily. See what I mean? I don't even know how to act around him now? Flirty? Friendly?I never knew life became so impossibly hard when you had a crush. Yeah. I actually said that. There's no going back is there?
I have a crush. Chris f*cking Collins is my crush. There. Said it.
Anyways I think he likes me too.
-rambles on and on in mind-
We mostly chatted in class and copied each others notes, so I was glad no drama happened.
"No offense,"said Chris while we were walking out of class. "Why do you look so... messy?"
"Um... long story." I muttered. I think he could tell that I wasn't uncomfortable with this subject so we talked about other stuff. Like what food choice there was going to be at the cafeteria. Mystery meatloaf? Salad? Sandwich? Or Oily pizza? Turns out Chris bought home lunch. I wonder how that doesn't affect his reputation. I never knew the words 'player' and 'home lunch' could go together. How interesting.
