His friends had abandoned him. He was nothing to them. Everyone had survived but him. Did he deserve this fate? Did he hate his friends for killing his sister and letting her turn Sophie into a ghoulish monster? It didn't matter. Nothing mattered. His eyes darted around the room savagely as he devoured his prey. His mouth was covered with the stranger's blood. He clutched the severed head of the man tightly and ripped the flesh clean off his bones in ceaseless hunger. He stopped suddenly as he heard footsteps approach him. His savage instincts overruled his own, detecting an intruder. He stood up as he growled brutishly, his wide, partially blind eyes turning to his new prey. His tongue licked the blood off his razor-sharp fangs as he approached the poor police officers, who screamed in fear as the young man turned monster moved closer to his food, wanting desperately to satisfy his undying starvation.
