Ashlyn woke up the next morning to Rafe in the shower. She heard her phone going off, she checked it to see a few messages from Sarah. Once she opened the message she saw and it was a picture of her and Rafe from last night.

Ashlyn made her way into Sarah's room. "Tell me" Sarah said before Ashlyn could even enter the room. "Soooo.." Ashlyn said "Last night Rafe obviously brought me here after we jumped in the pool and I asked him if I could stay in his room," Ashlyn started. "Mhmmm, continue" Sarah said, "then I was asking him what he wanted to tell me while we were dancing at midsummers, he said he didn't remember which I call bs on but whatever." Ashlyn continued, "Then we kissed." Ashlyn finished, blushing. "WHAT OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH!!!!" Sarah yelled jumping up and down. "Sarah be a little quieter please" Ashlyn said laughing at her friend. "SORRY. Are yall a thing yet?" she questioned, Ashlyn shook her head no. "Ugh, he needs to hurry up and ask" Sarah said falling onto her bed. Ashlyn let out a chuckle as she checked her phone to see a text from Rafe.

Sarah picked out two pairs of jean shorts and matching crop tops for the two. They headed out to where the boys told them to go. It was the island club of course. "Rafe!" Ashlyn said catching his attention. He pulled her into a hug which caught her off guard but she still hugged him back of course. She could see Sarah and Topper grinning at them and giving each other knowing looks. "Okay break it up lovebirds" Topper said. The four sat down and ordered their food. "So are you guys like a thing?" Topper immediately asked which made Sarah slap the back of his head. "You could say that" Rafe said smiling, which made Ashlyn blush. After they ate the boys wanted to go golfing so the girls headed to walk on the beach.
— Rafes POV —
"Are you gonna ask her ask her?" Topper questioned me, "Obviously Top, I just don't know when." I answered. "Ask her tonight, when we all go to the beach." He told me. "Yeah, sure I'll do that." I said smiling.
— Ashlyn's pov —
"I think he's gonna ask you like tonight or something" Sarah said to me. "Really? You dont think he'll wait??" I asked. "No, I think since our group is going to the beach tonight he'll ask then, plus I heard him earlier, he was on the phone with Zach asking if it was okay with him." Sarah responded. Ashlyn smiled, "Okay Sarah, whatever you say." she said ask they were walking back to Sarah's car.
