He would pick up Ruby's egg and put her in his lap and just sit there and watch but soon he hears a faint cracking noise fizz: shit I didn't know she would start hatching today oh god is Ozzie home yet please tell me he is oh good
No one's POV:

The door of the nursery would open to show Ozzie with a surprised face
Ozzie's POV:

Ozzie: fizz didn't I tell you not to touch her egg without telling m- oh shes hatching and your having a meltdown he sighs and removes the egg from the panicking imp and than pick him while watching Ruby hatch
No one's POV:

Fizz stopped panicking when he was in Ozzies arms and happily paid attention to ruby till she finally hatched out of the egg ( ruby looks more like Ozzie but still has fizzes horns and tail

Ozzie:Aww she's so cute...fizz what should we name her
