You've heard the buzz around the school. It's all anyone wants to talk about.
They say that the FBI has arrived, that they're investigating the murder of those wretched girls.
Murder.
As if they didn't deserve to die.
As if what you did to them wasn't justice.
Anger swells in your chest. It's your fault. You got sloppy.
When you'd heard what Jamie did, it had sent you over the edge.
She needed to die.
She needed to die right then and there.
You didn't have time to draw her away from the school.
You should have waited and planned the way you did with the others. You should have been better.
But you weren't, and now they're here to mess everything up with their skewed idea of justice.
You take a deep breath. They can't stop you, you remind yourself.
Jamie's death may have gotten their attention, but they won't be here for long. They need a murder weapon to justify an investigation.
And they'll never find what killed them.
