Born : December 15th 2000. The formula 1 driver and 2007 World Driver's Champion, Kimi Räikkönen's younger sister. The two were very close as they had been growing up, or ideally: Suvi growing up since Kimi was in his early 20s at the time his sister was born.
The siblings looked alike, in terms of appearance. Blonde hair, striking blue eyes, fair skin, smile.. the list could go on. One glance at the pair and you could tell straight away that they were brother and sister. But besides their similar facial features, the two weren't much alike at all.
Kimi, of course, was the reserved and quiet one. The only time you would catch him talking more than a word or two, was if it were directed towards his family, or the people he grew close enough with. Or on other circumstances: intoxicated or frustrated. Suvi was the more outgoing, happy-go-lucky sibling. But there are times where she would take after her brother.
Ever since his sister had been born, he had always taken her to every single race, sometimes bringing along Rami, the eldest of the two Räikkönen's, if he didn't have anything else planned. For their father and mother, they had also came to each race of Kimi's, in support and love for their son.
Now of course, Suvi did attend school as any other child, but during the weekends she would be in a completely different country, sitting in Kimi's garage in either her mother or father's lap watching the races.
The Räikkönen's have always been a close and compacted family, something that each family on their block admired.
In 2010, Matti had passed away. Kimi, Suvi and Rami's father. Paula's husband. It caused a slight fracture amongst the Räikkönen's, but they still tried to pull through together.
After a while the three Räikkönen's soon heard very little from Rami, as he of gotten a new job and wife. Both taking over his outside life. It was now just Paula and Suvi flying out, watching and supporting Kimi and his career.
In 2015, Kimi was newly paired with Sebastian Vettel. The four time Driver's Championship winner. Kimi and Sebastian grew close, building a friendship both on and off the track.
A year later, Kimi meets Minttu Virtanen through a mutual friend, the two immediately hitting it off. The day of their wedding, very little people had been invited, but that's what the bride and groom wanted. Just family and a couple close friends. Kimi's German teammate being one of them. Suvi was by Sebastian and Paula's side the whole time, mostly Sebastian's. At the very start of the 2015 season, when Kimi and Seb had met and have been told the two were going to be teammates -- Sebastian also had the opportunity to meet the young Räikkönen. Since then, Suvi has always thought of Sebastian as a 'second father.' And Sebastian has always thought of Suvi as his daughter, he grew protective over her just like Kimi was, spoiling her each time she and Paula came out to watch. That's just how their relationship was.
This was something that Kimi had grown to notice, so the night of his wedding he had asked Sebastian to be Suvi's Godfather -- Sebastian happily accepting. The German basically became a Räikkönen, although he still is a Vettel, born a Vettel and is under the Vettel last name. He thought of himself as a Räikkönen, and so did the Räikkönen family.
Off the grid, during the 'driver's vacation,' Räikkönen's and Vettel would always do something together for a week or two, whether it'd be in Finland, Germany, or in a completely different country.
The end of the 2018 season was a shocker for not only Sebastian and Suvi, but for the fans as well, as Kimi's contract with Ferrari was up; heading towards Alfa Romeo for the 2019 season.
Antonio Giovinazzi became Kimi's new teammate, the two not overally close due to Kimi building a small wall between him and the Italian. Suvi and Antonio got along well, but still nothing like the Räikkönen's relationship with Vettel.
Despite the team switch and with Suvi growing older, Kimi still tried to hide his sister from the media as well as the other driver's. The only one's on the grid who knew about Kimi's sister were his former teammates, and now Antonio.
Flash forward to the middle of 2019 -- As Suvi is now 18 years old, a high-school graduate that does not have a clue on what she wants to do for her future -- what happens when she slowly starts to involve herself more into the Formula 1 world? Which heads does she happen turn as she steps out onto the Paddock?
