"Have you gotten anything back?" I look up from my phone. "No.. nothing yet." I sigh, looking once more before shutting off my phone and tucking it into my pocket. "Well, they do get tons of applications and emails in. I'm sure you'll get something shortly." Minttu says, comforting me by rubbing my back.
"I guess so.."
We looked off into the streets of Paris, people watching, taking in each detail. Me and Minttu had decided to have a 'girls day,' just me and her. We spent the day wandering the streets of France, stopping into each Cafe to try all the delicious foods, going shopping in the various markets.
"So.. you and Lando?" I tense up, "What about 'me and Lando?'" I ask. Minttu smiles and looks over at me. "You two like eachother, no?" I open my mouth to try and answer her question, but nothing comes out. I sat there, with my mouth open. "Its okay! Lando seems like a wonderful young man. I just wish you had of told me!" She brings me in a side hug and squeezes me. "How did you know?" I managed to get out.
"I've seen the way you two act around eachother.. and Kimi and Sebastian may have mentioned it. But.. they've also mentioned Mick too..?" I look at her and furrow my eyebrows. "What about Mick?" "Oh nothing. But you and Lando, when did the two of you get together?"
"When we were in Monaco." She nods, getting a text from who I assumed to be Kimi, she releases her arm and stands up. "We should probably head back." She grabs her shopping bags. I stand up and grab my own -- we then make our way down the street. "Did he ask you or did you ask him?" She then continues our conversation. "He asked me, I wasn't overally sure though." I truthfully say. "What weren't you overally sure about? You like him, no?"
"About us being together, at the time I was.. confused." We made a stop at the crosswalk amongst other people as we were waiting for the light to flash 'walk.' "But you..-" "I know how I feel now.. for him." The light flashes and we begin walking with the crowd. "Was I the only one that didn't know?"
"Oh no, no. We haven't told anyone, well I haven't, I don't know if he has or not."
"And how long are you going to keep it a secret from everyone? From your brother and Seb?"
"I.. don't know." I glance down at my feet as I walk, to try and keep my mind at bay. "Not forever I hope?"
"Of course not. Just when the time feels right, you know?" I look over at her and see her nod. "I was your age too you know, I don't want you to make the same mistakes that I did. So if you need someone to talk to about this type of stuff, or anything, you can talk to me."
"I know. Thank you."

"You really need to stop forgetting your key in here." Lando teases as he lets me into the hotel room. "How was your day?" He pecks my lips. "It was pretty good. Yours?" I slip out of my sneakers and place my shopping bag on the kitchen counter. "Boring.. but it seems you had fun. Shopping? What did you get?" He moves over towards the bag and starts digging his hands in, pulling out the clothes. "Ooo." He holds up a dress that Minttu had convinced me to get. "Are you going to do a little fashion show for me?"
"You wish." I giggle, grabbing the dress out of his hands and placed it back into the bag, along with the other pieces of clothing he scattered on the countertop. Lando moves closer and wraps his arms around my waist. "I missed you."
"I missed you too." I grinned, looking up slightly too meet his blue eyes. His eyes flickered down to my lips before leaning down.
