University of Turku
Bachelor programs

I scrolled down on the programs list, looking through which I'd be interested in -- what I could see myself doing, and yada yada...

It was near 9:30 in the morning, I had went back to the same Cafe from a couple of days ago, with my laptop bag. Thankfully the lady from before wasn't there. I was seated just at a table near the corner of the Cafe by one of its windows.

One of the waitresses came by with my cup of coffee, interrupting me. She placed it down on the wooden table and had given me a friendly smile. "Merci." I thanked, giving her a smile back and went back to my searching.

Bachelors of Medical Sciences..
Bachelors of Natural Sciences..
Bachelors of Engineering and Tech..

I created a doc with 6 other University's that are in Finland, adding the programs that I found interest in just underneath along with its requirements and all the other additional -- and fairly important information. Just so that when the time comes to send in my application, I'll have all the information I need instead of scrambling.

I took a sip of my coffee, burning my tongue in the process. Cursing at how it was still as hot as it was when the waitress had brought it out.
"Suvi?" I peered up, seeing Mick walking over towards my table, holding his very own cup of what I presumed to be the same contents as to what I have in mine.

I gave him a smile, watching him inch closer and closer towards me. "Mick." I acknowledge, nodded my head at him. He stopped just by the other chair across from me. "May I join you?" He asks.

"Of course, you don't have to ask." I pick up my cup, blowing on it first before taking a sip -- not wanting to burn myself again.
As I saw that I took up most of the table, I immediately placed my cup down and went to move my laptop a bit to the side to give Mick a little more room.

"What're you doing here?" I ask, taking my cup of coffee in my hands once again.

"I went to your hotel room, Seb said you weren't there and that you went out for a coffee." He brings his cup up to his lips, blowing and took a sip before continuing. "Why was Sebastian at yours so early in the morning?"

"He stayed the night." Shrugging my shoulders, I took a glance over towards my laptop and decide to put it away as I wasn't using it momentarily. "What're you doing here in Monaco if I may ask? Because I know Micheal doesn't race anymore.... are you on vacation?" I watched as his face expression changed at the mentioning of his fathers name. Something I had found weird.

"I.. uh-" he starts, looking down at the table before looking back up at me, his knuckles turning a bit white as he gripped his cup tighter. "I've made it into Formula 2. This year actually."

"Thats great! I'm so happy for you. Micheal and Corinna must be proud. Are they here in Monaco with you? I'd love to see them." I gave him a smile.

"You haven't heard have you?" He stammered, his eyes growing a bit glossy. I slowly shook my head, my smile soon dropping at the question.
He cleared his throat. "My dad, he um.. got into an accident, he's been stuck in bed since.." he gave me fairly little detail, and as much as I wanted more. I knew not to push it.

How had I been left in the dark? Did Kimi know too? If so, for how long? Sebastian for sure would have known, why did he not tell me?

A million thoughts were rushing through my head, but I was pulled out as Mick gently said my name. I looked across his face, his eyes were still glossy but now tinted with a slight redness, his cheeks were growing a bit pink -- his cheeks would always turn a bit pink when he was on the edge of crying when we were kids.

It wasn't until then that I felt my own eyes watering up.

I placed my cup down and stood up from the table, Mick watching my every move. "Up." I gesture, which he does, also placing his coffee down. As soon as he was on his two feet, I immediately wrapped my arms around him and brought him in for a hug. "I am so, so sorry Mick." I say, loud enough for only him to hear.

He clutches onto me tighter and I could hear the quiet sniffles escape from his mouth. I began rubbing one of my hands softly up and down his back -- to try and comfort him. He then went to move his head in the crook of my shoulder, that's when I could tell just how much he had been crying as his tears soaked the side of my neck.

We stood there, holding eachother for a couple of minutes, in silence. We've received a couple of looks here, whispers shared between some of them. To which I sent my fair share of glares, telling them to 'fuck off,' with out really telling them. They didn't know the situation.

Mick had finally pulled his head away, taking one of his hands away to bring it up and wipe the remaining few tears.
"Thank you." He muttered. "I am here if you ever need someone to talk too." I pulled my head back so I was able to look at him. His eyes were still holding tears back, I gave him a small smile. To which he gave me a weak one back. "Thank you." He says again, this time just barely a whisper.
