It was the next morning as Thunks stomach started to go off. "Thunk, make it stop." Eep said. Ugga yelled out, "Hit snooze!" So Thunk patted his stomach and said, "Stop it, tummy." Ugga looked at Moon and Guy as Guy's arm was around Moon's waist. Both teens stretched out as Guy said, "Another glorious morning." Thunk started to play with Douglas as he said, "What's that? You wanna play? Go get it, boy!" But then Sandy started to go after the stick that Thunk threw so he complained to Ugga. "No, Sandy! Mom! Sandy's fetching Douglas's stick again." But there was some rustling making sound as Thunk said, "Uh, what's that?" Ugga saw this and quickly said, "Kill circle!" The Croods plus Guy got into a circle with weapons as Moon looked at Guy and said, "Safety off, babe." Guy thanked her when Grug came through the bush making everyone throw something at him. Ugga apologectly smiled and said, "Oops. Sorry, honey. We thought you were a predator trying to kill us."

Grug quickly got up and said, "No, never apologize for an effective kill circle. You have to come see this. Follow me! Come on. This way. Whoo-hoo! Yes! You're gonna love it!" This made the family confused but they followed him. Guy and Moon took each other's hands as they stayed close. They all looked to see this big wall that made belt go. "Dun-dun-duh?" The family stood there all together as Moon murmured, "I've never seen anything like it." Guy walked up to the wall and said, "There's something about this." As the family kept talking as rip in the wall appeared when Grug said, "It's not the end. It's just the beginning. Welcome to our Tomorrow!"

Everyone around them wow'd as Grug said, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. One moment, Thunk. Before we eat, I'd like to say a few words. Let this flag mark the day I discovered our home, filled with flowers, and butterflies, and a sweet, babbling brook." Moon glared at her father thinking (How dare he listen in.) Guy seemed upset. As everyone tried to get to the food, Grug was being ridiculous. Everyone charged for food as Moon and Guy ate properly. After a bit everyone was groaning from all the food. "I don't feel like eating anymore. Mom, am I sick?" Thunk looked at his mom as Ugga said, "No, honey. You're full." Thunk then said, "Full feels weird." Grug then said, "I can't eat another bite. Wait. Yes, I can. Buh-nah-nuh."

"Banana?" Moon looked at her dad confused taking Guy's hand. "I tasted one once, long, long ago. It was summer. The sun was warm on my shoulders. Flowers were in high bloom. I was just a cub. Well, I ate that banana in one bite. And ever since, a day hasn't gone by without me thinking about it." Thunk looked up at their dad and said, "What was it like, Father? What was it like?" Grug continued his daze as he said, "No words can describe it, Thunk. No words are good enough." As Grug got the banana they were caught in a trap making there no room for the family.
