"Did you actually like her?"

"Bhaiyya!" Arjun engulfed his cousin brother in a tight hug.

"I came to meet you before we left but you were sleeping like a baby." Dhruv rubbed his younger brother's back affectionately.

Both the brothers looked at each other and grinned. Oh! How much they missed spending time with each other.

"Why did you come at such ungodly hour in the morning?" Dhruv asked as he sat on Arjun's bed. He shook his head in amusement as he picked up the wet towel from the bed and threw it at Arjun.

Arjun smiled sheepishly as he caught his towel. He had a very bad habit of leaving the wet towel on the bed. His mother always teased him that his partner will never put up with his nonsense unlike his mother who had no choice.

"You know I like giving surprises." Arjun grinned as he sat beside his brother on his bed. The two brothers were almost inseparable.

Arjun's mother, Barkha and Dhruv's father, Sudhir were siblings. In fact they had another sibling as well, Sonia. Sudhir and Sonia were fraternal twins while Barkha was three years younger to them. The three siblings were very close to each other and the twins loved their younger sister to death.

Barkha fell in love with Gautam Kashyap and wanted to marry only him. Her parents back then were against it but Sudhir could not see his little sister's heart break and hence he convinced their parents and eventually Barkha got married to the love of her life and moved to Lucknow with her husband and his family. She was only 21 then. Had barely completed her graduation. However Gautam and his family were very supportive of her and supported her as she pursued her PhD in English Literature.

Soon enough, Sonia too got married and moved to Mumbai whereas Sudhir got married to Prerna and stayed back in Jaipur and managed his father's business.

However the three siblings always made it a point to meet each other during holidays and hence their children were as close as any real sibling would be. They never considered each other as cousins.

Arjun had finally come back to Jaipur to finally handle a part of his Nanu's business that was in his mother's name. The Malhotra's always wanted Abhay, Arjun's elder brother to join their business but he wanted to take care of his father's family business. Hence after completing his preofessional studies and gaining adequate experience in the Kashyap Enterprises, Arjun was all set to assume his position in Malhotra and Sons.

"You'll never grow up, will you?" Dhruv chuckled as he saw the familiar twinkle in his little brother's dark mischievous eyes. Arjun shook his head in a no, aggressively, making water droplets fall from his wet hair on Dhruv.

"Stop, Arjun." Dhruv muttered in slight irritation making Arjun chuckle.

"Achcha, tell me, did you meet mom and dad?" Dhruv asked turning towards Arjun.

"Yes, I met Mama Ji and Mami Ji when you were busy attending your business calls." Arjun rolled his eyes. He never understood the obsession his brothers had with work.
