"I just want you. That's all. All your flaws, mistakes, smiles, jokes, sarcasm, everything. I just want you."
Avyansh and I, after our little moment in that room, came back to the restaurant where everyone was currently seated and joined the group.
When we returned, everyone at the table turned their heads toward us and stilled, credit to our intertwined hands which my dearest husband hadn't left since our rendezvous.
My cheeks flushed and I looked down ignoring their heated gazes but one glare from Avyansh and they engrossed themselves in their previous conversation. We took our seats and then ordered food as my stomach growled quietly.
None of them asked us any questions about our sudden closeness and change of mood and I thanked the heavens for that-
"Okay, cut the crap guys. Mansi, did this arrogant robot finally apologize to you?" And of course, Amaira and her curiosity.
Avyansh scowled at her, but she was too used to it now and, she was my best friend too, so Avyansh knew better than to say something to her.
"What? Even we are curious. Avy, did you beg for her forgiveness?" Sid asked and, a laugh escaped me before I could've thought.
Avyansh's jaw tightened as he gripped my hand firmly yet gently and, he squeezed it. His eyes momentarily wandered to me and held my gaze. I nodded my head slightly in an attempt to calm him down and it worked as his shoulders visibly relaxed.
I spoke in a soft tone, "Guys, guys. Yes, we're both umm-" Thinking of a suitable word, I stopped mid-sentence only to hear Avyansh.
"Good." He deadpanned and that's it. Everyone took the hint and all of the tension in our surroundings dissolved into thin air as soft smiles spread through their faces.
They're all so cute.

After we had our dinner, Sid was paying the bill as he quoted, 'It's on me for the reconciliation of my parents.' Well, Avyansh didn't give two fucks about it either.
"Babe, there's this huge-ass mall nearby which has a special offer going on. Wanna check? We still have time," Naina asked me with her light brown eyes glinting in the lighting of the room making her sharp features look more prominent.
"And what about you guys?" I asked Rudra, who was busy flirting with the girl, seated next to our table with her friends.
I gave him a look that clearly said, 'Focus, you idiot.' He did, but not before taking her number. And then this guy smirked seeing all of us looking at him with our eyes and mouth widened.
These Raghuvanshi brothers and their arrogance. Huh!
"Ha so, we'll be hitting the bar area. That's it." I looked at Avyansh to find him already staring at me with a soft expression as if I were the only person present in the whole room.
