Meany attempting to make there way home to be with their families, the snow covered ice layering Gotham streets making the task impossible. Street Santas freezing there ass off in an attempt for quick cash. Twinkle lights shining through the layers of tinsel decorated. The city looked beautiful but it truly held evil's lurking through the shadows of the night. Tonight no one seems to pay evil much attention, a family of three exit the Monarch Theater, Gotham's wealthiest Thomas and Martha Wayne have just taken there twelve year old son F/N to see The Grey Ghost staring Michael Keaton. F/N burst out the doors in excitement a huge smile on his face mimicking the fight he just watched, pretending he was fighting bad guys. The twinkle in his eyes spoke volumes of how much he enjoined the movie. Thomas comes up to there son and ruffles up his hair, Martha embraces there son in a hug.

"Seems like someone enjoyed themselves. Did you enjoy the movie son?" Thomas said still with his arm around his son.

"It was the amazing dad! The finale fight between The Grey Ghost and The Jester was epic!" F/N exclaimed thinking how amazing the movie was, he couldn't get it out of his mind. He through a right and left jab, pretending he was the Grey Ghost.

Martha giggles. "It looks like he won't be getting any sleep anytime soon dear. I guess Santa wont be visiting tonight. Martha teased a sly grin across her lips.

"Wow some how I feel all sleepy." F/N tried to act stretching one arm up and having one hand rub the sleepiness from his eye.

Martha raised a single elegant eyebrow still with a sly grin on her lips. "Oh...really? Well if your really that tired then I guess we'll just skip the pre Christmas day gifts."

F/N looked panicked. "I didn't mean it like that mom and you know that."

Martha Just laughs, she loved to tease her son. He could get so tung tied when ever she did it.

Thomas just shook his head at his wife and son's antics, his smile broadened, he was truly the luckiest man in the world to have been blessed with a beautifully family. Nothing could ever replace these moment in his life, he would do anything to protect his family, to protect these moment and cherish them every single day. His wife and son are the one thing that keeps him grounded and motivated in making Gotham and the world a better place. In the corner of his eye he spotted a figure following them. Thomas moved in between his wife and son, putting both of his arms around them and keep them close. Martha gave her husband a confused look. He looked to his wife and moved his eyes in the direction behind him a signal she understood. She did the same and spotted the same figure in the shadows following them. Her face turned series and discretely took out a small device from her coat pocket, this worked as a distress beacon alerting Alfred to their location.

"Mom, Dad, what wrong?" F/N ask looking at the two worriedly. He noticed there moods shifted but didn't know why.

"Nothing's wrong F/N, just stay close." Thomas's grip on both of them tightened slightly puling them in closer to him, hoping Alfred can find them in time. They keep walking, moving past the small crowds of people. "Let's take a shortcut through the park." Thomas suggested, nodding his head over to where the large lit up Christmas tree was. Thomas turned his head slightly to see behind him, the figure that was following them before vanished. This did nothing to ease his worries and his wife can sense it as well. Just as they step through a spotlight the same man stepped out from the shadows. Thomas quickly got in-front of his wife and son, now on alert. F/N peaked out from behind his father to get a good look at this stranger. He wore cargo pants, combat boots, a black letterman jacket, flat cape, leather gloves, and a scarf that covers all the way up to his mouth. His eyes where hard steel blue, they where eyes of a predator out for his prey.
