Tony knew the tower would be online soon, up and running being powered by the reactor he was working on. So far, all his ideas about the tower were successful, and this would be the cherry on top, sustainable energy. Sitting at his desk, his eyes caught the date changing on his screen, as it hit midnight, and it threw him back to last year, on this day when that strange woman had been here.

He still had Jarvis running facial on the woman, and from what Coulson had told him, so were they, yet no one knew anything about this woman. It was a little confusing at times, Jarvis would pick her up in one country and not an hour, or day later, she was the other side of the world, though most times, she was picked up in the city. Whenever he had tried to get to her, she disappeared again and again, as if she knew he was coming.

Tony hated unsolved mysteries, and this woman was definitely a mystery. He had to know who she was, his curiosity was becoming an obsession, which Pepper had pointed out, more than once, but he couldn't help with that niggling doubt, this woman was lost, and needed help.

Fury had received Selvigs reports, as well as Coulsons, Hills and Bartons, all of them, in agreement about one thing, the tesseract needed to be contained. Coulson and Hill were under orders to evacuate the JDEM base in the Mojave Desert. Project Pegasus was one of their important projects, something that would give the world the defense they would need. Glancing out at the base as the chopper came into land outside, he could see the evacuation was in effect.

A lot of things were on his mind right now, main one being the warning he had received twelve hours prior to the reports he had gotten, from an anonymous source, that this would happen. He wondered who or what had sent him the warnings, the other he had received was that he needed to activate the initiative, with the list of six, Tony Stark, Dr Bruce Banner, Steve Rogers, Agent Barton, Agent Romanoff and Thor.

How someone knew the specifics of his initiative, Fury had no idea, but considering the warnings, he wasn't going to risk losing the tesseract, which was why he was here, the cube and Barton would be leaving with him, no matter what. Getting out, he kept low and headed straight for Coulson who was waiting for him.

Elle grunted as she hit the ground, rolling across the courtyard and blew her hair from her face, her hand tightening on the staff she held... 'I take it back, I'm a little out of shape..'.. From her back, she flipped up onto her feet, and spun the staff, taking a stance again as Mordo watched her.

'You have had other priorities than training Elle..'.. He chuckled, and she narrowed her eyes, watching him.

'Just glad to do this again, it's been a while since I've been able to kick someone's ass..'.. She smirked, and moved forward, sliding on her side as he swung his own staff at her. She quickly hit him in the back of the legs as she twisted up onto one knee, and brought the staff round, aiming at his throat as he went to his knees.

He laughed, flicking her staff away from him, standing up and tossing his own away... 'Let us try with your magic. Conjure a weapon..'.. He gestured to her as she stood, dropping her own staff to the side. Taking a calming breath, she conjured a whip.

The two went against one another for a good half hour before Mordo called time, and he nodded in approval at Elle with a smile... 'Even without the physical training, you have come along well. I believe it is time for your relics..'

Elle grinned, bouncing from one foot to the other, as the Ancient one joined them outside... 'You are skilled in the arts, quite quickly, more so than many students here..'.. The ancient one glances over to the shaded side, smiling at what she could see... 'Do you wish to stay?..'
