Coffee Time Six

"How is it still fall time?!" Dino asked as he, Jun, Hoshi, Dk, Vernon, and Seungkwan all walked down the street towards their destination.

"I would rather call it still fall time than almost Christmas time!" Vernon fired back as some of the others agreed.

"Hot take, christmas doesn't start until after Thanksgiving." Seungkwan said.

"We don't even celebrate Thanksgiving though Seungkwan." Hoshi pointed out as Seungkwan shrugged. "And Chuseok already passed." He added.

"I actually think Joshua wants us to hold a thanksgiving dinner." Jun said as they arrived at Diamond Days Coffee Co.

"Really - holy look at how many are here!" DK said in shock, every table was filled, and there seemed to be a line that went out the door and around the corner.

"Was it even this busy on Halloween?" Seungkwan asked as they pushed through the crowd of people.

"Wonwoo said it was busy cause of the discount, but I don't think it was this busy." Jun said as they finally saw Wonwoo.

"What are you guys doing here?" Wonwoo asked, quickly looking up from the drink he was making.

"We're here to help!" Dino said proudly as Seungcheol came around the back corner, carrying a container of coffee cups.

"Guys? What are you all doing here?" Seungcheol asked, handing the cups to another worker.

"We got Wonwoo's text about needing help." Jun said as Seungcheol turned to look at the other worker.

"I didn't ask for help, I was complaining." Wonwoo pointed out. "There is a differnce." He added.

"Doesn't matter, anyways we are here to work now!" Seungkwan said.

"Well, it's illegal for you 3 to work since you aren't 16." Seungcheol said, pointing to Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino.

"Well is there anything we can do to help?" Vernon asked.

"You know, I did need to run to a few stores later and stock up..." Seungcheol trailed off before pulling a list out of his pocket.

"Here. You 3 take the bus and go to these stores and get the things on this list." Seungcheol said, handing the list to Seungkwan and the company credit card to Dino.

"Hoshi, help at the register. Jun, Dk, help with clearing these tables, cleaning suplies are in the back." Seungcheol said as they all nodded and got to work.

Thanks to the extra set of hands helping around the cafe, and without needing to get the restock orders bought. The day seemed to go a whole lot smoother.

Even if that rush seemed like it would never end.

By the end of their "shift" both Hoshi and Jun had learned how to make more than half of the drinks on their menu.

And Dk had proven he was really good at packaging and handing out orders.

"Thank you guys so much for your help." Seungcheol said as they closed down the cafe for the night.

"It was fun! It felt like we are on a mission." Dino said, reffering back to all the shopping he, Seungkwan and Vernon had done.

"Like we were on a doomsday clock!" Vernon added.

"Well then, you guys can start picking up the restock orders!" Wonwoo said, ruffling both boys' hair.
