Pleasing a Storm

"Okay, I got the snacks!" Jun declared as he dumped the 2 shopping bags full of snacks down on the floor in front of the couch where they were all gathered.

"Hey, don't be so careless with them! They'll get squished!" Dk said, attempting to catch some of the falling snacks.

"Sorry." Jun said, sitting on the floor in front of the couch. "Now, what's the important news?" He asked the 3 oldest.

"Yeah, I wanna start the movie before the storm finishes!" Woozi said. There was supposed to be a thunderstorm tonight, so they agreed to have a storm movie night.

"And I agreed to go outside with Hansol tonight!" Seungkwan added.

"Your mother will kill me if she finds out I let you outside during a thunderstorm." Seungcheol points out.

"Oh well - you'll be missed, dear Seungcheol-hyung." Seungkwan said sweetly as Seungcheol looked at him with wide eyes.

"Just kidding!" Seungkwan smiled as Seungcheol sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Anyways, we wanted to talk to you all about our current living situation - and NO Hoshi, we're not kicking anyone out for you-know-what." Seungcheol said.

"Got it." Hoshi flashed a thumbs up.

"Okay, so moving on." Jeonghan took over. "We wanted all your opinions on us all moving into a house." He said.

"A house?!" They all asked at the same time as Jeonghan rolled his eyes.

"Jeez, why do you all after to say it like it's some groundbreaking discovery?!" Jeonghan asked. "Yes, a house!" He added.

"Would we each get our own room?" The8 asked.

"No, but the rooms will be big enough that if you do share a room, you'll have more of your own space." Jeonghan explained.

"I'm all for more space." Jun said as The8 nudged him with his foot. "Sorry! But there are 2 of us crammed in one apartment room!" Jun pointed out.

"Hence the house." Seungcheol said as Jeonghan pulled out his phone and passed it around, showing details about the house.

One by one, as the 2 saw pictures, they began to agree to the thought of moving into a house.

"NOW, can we start the movie?" Mingyu asked as Seungkwan nodded eagerly.

"Okay okay! We'll continue this conversation tomorrow morning!" Seungcheol said as Joshua pressed play on the movie.

It was around 2am when Woozi woke up. "God dammit." He cursed as he checked the time.

He turned over in bed to see his own bed, which Dino had been sleeping in, was now empty.

After 5 minutes, with curiosity getting the best of him, and all traces of sleep gone, Woozi weasled his way out of Hoshi's arms, heading for the kitchen, wanting to get a glass of water, and maybe run into Dino.

And there, sitting at the dining room table, sat Dino, staring off into space.

"Dino? Are you okay?" Woozi asked quietly, waving his hand in front of the youngers face.

"Sorry." Dino said once he snapped back into reality. "What are you doing up?" He asked Woozi.

"Couldn't sleep, I also saw you weren't in bed for the last few minutes, so I wanted to check on you." Woozi said as he poured a glass of water.

"Water?" He asked as Dino nodded and accepted the glass from the older. "So, why are you up?" Woozi asked.

"I had a nightmare." Dino admitted. "And let me tell you, they suck when you can't even remember the face of who is tourmenting you." Dino added.

"I'm sorry, that must be awful." Woozi said sadly.

"I mean, it certainly does suck, but at least I'm not waking up to it." Dino said, trying to stay positive as he chugged down the rest of his water.

"Are you planning on going back to sleep?" Dino asked as Woozi shook his head.

"Probaly not, since I'm used to being up this early. And I'm pretty sure I have some sort of insomnia like Seungcheol." Woozi laughed as Dino nodded along.

"Can I ask you something?" Dino asked as Woozi nodded. "How did you and Hoshi meet?" Dino asked as Woozi couldn't hide his smile.

"He actually came up to me at lunch, he sat in front of me and said, and I qoute: 'Hi, my name is Soonyoung, but you can call me soon.' And then handed me a can of Coke Zero with his number written on it." Woozi laughed.

"He really said that?" Dino asked in shock as Woozi nodded.

"He was a weird but odly bold 16 year old." Woozi admitted. "I don't think that line would've worked if his name wasn't Soonyoung." Woozi added.

"I keep forgetting his name is actually Soonyoung, Hoshi just fits him so well." Dino said. "Like how Woozi fits you." He added.

"True, but alas, my parents named me Jihoon. Which probably fits better with the surname Lee than Woozi does." Woozi said.

"Wait... Lee." Dino's eyes widened before he collapsed right out of his chair, scaring the absolute crap outta Woozi.
