(Today is November 5th)

Today was the beginning of what would be a bittersweet time.

It is nearing 3 months since Jun and The8 arrived in korea, since they arrived in September and now it's Novemeber.

Which now means it's almost time for The8 to return back home to China. And while everyone tried to act normal and fine with the news.

It was truly sad.

"Do you have to go?" Dino asked as The8 nodded sadly.

"Will you come visit us at least?" Seungkwan asked as The8 tried to nod again, but he had no idea.

"I will try to, I promise." The8 smiled softly, praying he can keep that promise.

They've all spent so much time with each other, they even live together! So to The8, to up and leave the others, felt wrong.

"Come on, pick up, pick up, pick up." The8 paced back and forth outside the house, his phone pressed to his ear.

"Hello?" A female voice spoke on the other side of the phone.

"Hi mom!" The8 smiled, his parents had just arrived home last night, so he decided to give them a call. "How was your trip?" He asked.

"Hi Minghao, it was good!" His mother responded. "How is korea? How was filming? We can't wait to watch you in the drama when you get home!" Minghao could practically hear his mother smiling.

"About that..." Minghao said slowly. "I have something to talk to you and Dad about." Minghao admitted.

"Okay, let me put you on speaker." His mother said as Minghao could now hear his dad saying hello to him.

"So, what did you want to talk to us about?" His dad as The8 took a deep breath before explaining.

"The drama was canceled back in september." The8 said as both of his parents gasped.

"What?!" They asked in shock. "What happened?!"

"One of the managers was charged with sexual assault, so the agency canceled the show." The8 explained. "They also cancled our hotel arrangements and our scheduled flights home." He added.

"Can they even do that?!" His father asked angirly.

"I don't know, but they did." The8 admitted.

"So where have you been staying these past 3 months?" His mother asked worridly.

"With Jun, he was the lead cast in the drama." The8 explained. "We are rooming with a bunch of people. Oh, it's so amazing mom." The8 smiled.

"You have roommates? How many?" His mother asked, glad her son found someone to stay with at least.

"There are 12 of us. We're all teens, but the oldest 2 are 19." The8 said. "We've also moved at least twice now. Now we are in a house!" The8 said.

"We'll it sounds like you've had fun." His mother said happily.

"Yeah, about that... Mom, I've found work here and a school I want to go to." The8 admitted.

"I want to stay in korea."

"Minghao, that's a big ask." His father said.

"I know but, I've made a good life for myself here, school, friends, work, a home, a 2nd family pracitcally!" The8 said.

"They'd let you stay with them?" His mother asked.

"Yes! They WANT me to stay mom." The8 said.

His parents stayed silent for a while before his mother spoke up.

"Okay, heres how this is gonna go." She said softly. "You can stay, BUT I want to talk to whoever the adult is of the house, then I want you to come home the weekend after your birthday to pack up some things." His mother said.

"Really?!" The8 asked in disbeilf.

"You seem happy there Minghao. And your happiness means the most to us." Minghao's dad admitted.
