Tony's POV
My head is pounding, every cell in my body is screaming for oxygen, I keep fighting until I feel like my head is about to explode. I was drowning. It was like having a gun to my head and being told not to let my heart beat. A cool shock of water rushes through me and I know that I am dead. In a matter of seconds, I will float like the sea weed, nothing more than a pile of flesh and bones, ready to decay in the oceans current. Suddenly, a hand broke the surfaces of the water "Tony, Tony!" came the voice of an angel. My guardian angel. The hand wrapped around me and gave me a comforting feeling of warmth that I had never felt before. It pulled me to the surface.
I let out a gasp of air as I shot up. I was no longer at the beach and I was no longer cold. Instead I was in the safety of my bedroom "Tony," Ziva mumbled, placing a hand on my shoulder. My rapid breathing began to ease, I looked over at the clock 3:47 it read. I looked over at Ziva and placed a passionate kiss on her lips, I put my hands on both her cheeks and melted as she kissed me better. I let her go and lay down wrapping my arms around her. Her warmth and steady breathing calmed me and soon sent me back to sleep

The sweet smell of French toast caused me to wake up and follow it into the kitchen where Ziva was making breakfast. "Good morning," I said wrapping my arms around her waist and kissing her cheek. She turned around to face me and wrapped her arms around my neck planting a quick warm kiss on my lips. "I know you probably don't want to talk about last night, but if you do. I'm here for you," she said sweetly.
"I know Ziva," I smiled
"We better get ready for work," she suggested as she handed me a plate of toast.

"Tony, there's someone for you in the conference room," Gibbs said as we entered the bulletin. I gave Ziva a quick kiss on the cheek and then ran upstairs to the conference room. "Junior," my father said as I entered the room "Dad?" I exclaimed confused. He walked towards me and brought me in for a hug "it's good to see you," I had no idea what to say so I just smiled awkwardly.
"I'm in town for a couple of days I just came to say hello,"
"No other reason why you came all the way to my work?" I asked confused
"Well there is something I would like to talk about," He muttered his mood changing in a matter of seconds. Before I could ask what was wrong there was a knock at the door and Ziva poked her head through "Sorry to interrupt but we could a case. Oh hi Mr. Dinozzo," she said entering the room and standing beside me "Ziva," he said grabbing her hand and kissing it
"You were saying dad," I said trying to get back on topic
"Oh it can wait, I'll talk to you this evening over dinner. Your place at 6?"
"Sure dad," I said leaving the room.

Ziva's POV
"Are you ok? You seem distracted since you saw your dad,"
"He wants to talk about something and I just got the sense that it's something serious," We opened the door and we were immediately greeted with the smell of Mr. Dinozzo's signature spaghetti. The smell reminded me of the times that I joined Tony for tea so he wouldn't have to be alone with his dad. "Dad!" Tony called out as we entered the kitchen. "I was wondering when you would get home junior. Oh hi Ziva," he smiled, noticing me. He looked between us confused and then down at our intertwined hands a grin appeared on his face "I always knew you two would get together," he smiled, hugging both of us.
"So dad, there was something you wanted to talk about?" Tony asked as we sat down to eat "Ah yeah junior, it's the real reason why I came to visit you," he continued "You see son I want to spend as much time with you as possible because I don't have much time left" I looked over at Tony, he looked saddened and confused
"What are you talking about Dad?" Tony asked
"A few months ago I was diagnosed with Lymphoma."
