I heated up my dinner and prepared for hachi too, "I'm so glad I had class today and not tomorrow" I chuckled while eating

I cleared up the kitchen and then went to the living room for a bit with hachi, "we're gonna wait and see if papa wishes me happy birthday at midnight?" she looked up to me she always reacts so attentively when I say papa "you're such a daddy's girl" I fluff her and laugh

after a while we decided to have a dance party to keep me awake until midnight but also to make sure I sleep immediately after, I've been getting quite tired these days and it sucks
hachi and I jumped and pranced around having a blast together, time easily passed with us even realising it at all
