Chapter 23
Maeve

It was the weekend so it meant parties and fun right? No everyone is sulking and is on a half brink of sleep. People studying left to right others asking for cheat, cheats. I mean there will be an after party after the exam so.

Besides that I was with Genesis we both were in the Library studying for are science finals it was something to do with astronomy and constellations. Genesis sighs and continues to work on her studies.

A few minutes later another sigh slips out her mouth I gaze up to look at her, it seems she wants to say something. "Uhm Genesis is everything good?" I asked she didn't look at me for a second before placing her pen down and scooting closer.

I was a bit confused on why she was acting this way, a bit strange if you ask me. "Did you tell him?" Genesis whispers to me and I furrowed my brows. "Tell who? What?" She softly smacks her forehead with her head and sighs a bit frustrated.

"You know Elias about."

"Oh that, oh yeah no." I said to her and looked back down at my paper I could feel her hard stare I was kinda starting to sweat. "Why not!?"

I cocked my head snapping it towards her I was a bit offended by this, I shouldn't even be the one to tell him. "He wasn't in a good mood." I simply said to her. "He wasn't in a good mood? I mean you still could've told him, it's Elias." She shrugged, it's Elias? She making it sound so easy.

"You what me to drop that type of bomb on him? He wasn't in a good mood and I didn't want him to get more upset Genesis! It's not as easy as it looks if it is I think it's best you should tell him." I said in a stern voice I wasn't trying to be rude but When I saw Elias he did look great and in that situation I don't think it's best to say something so off putting.

"Right sorry, I'm just stress you know hormones." She said to me. "Yeah I get it but I don't like the pressure you're putting on me Genesis, he's gonna be just as mad at me just as he is at you when I tell him." I said looking at her she nodded her head.

"I know, I know I shouldn't do this to you over my troubles... Me and Elias seem to get along but we don't not as much as we used to." She said, I didn't want to be nosy or anything thing but I was kinda interested to know what happened but hey It's not my spot to be digging in.

"No I get you, it's okay I'll tell him don't worry about it." I said to her she gave me a bright smile thanking me repeatedly, I waved her off and we both continued studying. I looked over and saw someone emerging from the shelf's it was Kingsley.

I scoffed paying her no mind but I did see a devilish grin sweep up across her face, I don't know what she plotting in her witch stew but I just know it's pure trouble. I heard my phone ding and picked it up to see a message from Victoria, she says that she misses me and wants to check up to see how I'm doing on exams.

Well that's new- ever since Victoria started being nice I started to give her a chance not that it would change anything much but I wanted to see if she was being true.

It looked like she was, I texted her back saying exam study was coming in just fine and that I was doing okay I closed my phone placing it back onto the table facing downwards.

Genesis was still deep into study, hours passed of are little study session and we were both cooked. We placed are books back and sat back down. "Wanna get something to eat?" Genesis asked I didn't even think about declining I nodded immediately. "Yes! All this studying sent me into hunger."
