Chapter 31
Elias
Warning this chapter contains violence and some words could trigger people, read mindfully.

I've been uh laying low these past weeks ever since that incident I stopped going to school and just stayed at my place where no one could find me sounds pathetic and idiotic I know. But I've been coming up with a plan to fix this.

I've been getting text from my mother Genesis everyone, I have been working on the low of course. I finally went out for the first time in a week I put a black hoodie on and some dark shades to cover my red eyes, I've been getting high to escape for reality lately.

It's the only way I'm coping at the moment. I got into my car and drove off I didn't know where I was going but I knew I was going somewhere.

I stopped.

At an old building that's full of students.

Fuck, why am I doing this again? I parked my car and got out walking up the path way I kept my head down. But then I heard aggressive running coming towards me I tilted my head up to see. "Genesis?" She was frantic and frightened she was clutching her stomach and covering her mouth her hand aggressively shakes.

"Genesis what's wrong!?" She bursted into tears she squared down she looked traumatized I was starting to think it was pregnancy hormones. "M-M-Maeve..." I raised my brow in question.

What did she mean "Maeve?"
"Yeah... what about her." I asked Genesis she couldn't even look me in the eye she was absolutely freaking out right now and I was so confused what was going on?

Why couldn't she tell me!?

What was taking so fucking long.

I rested a hand on her shoulder trying to comfort her I didn't want to seem like an ass or something. "What about Maeve, Genesis?" I asked again she shook her head, I sighed I grabbed her hand leading her to my car but she wouldn't budge.

"Jeez these hormones." I said to her scoffing she gave me a hard cold glare and I shrugged. "This is not the fucking TIME Elias! You think this is fucking funny or some shit like that? Well let me tell you it isn't I don't know what you fucking did or who you even are." She paused after a moment taking a deep breath.

She stood up in her two feet and repeatedly punched my chest, not gonna lie that was painful. "You have been a drug dealer all this time and you never told me? You fucking deal drugs you got my fucking friend killed I don't even fucking know if she's dead or not? All I know is your fucking affairs got her into a dangerous situation. Not only that but putting me into jeopardy!"

She continued to yell at me I'm so confused the only part I understood was drug dealer everything else was a complete blur. "I never told you to keep you protected." I simply said she scoffed. "Look can we talk about this in my car or something we are in the middle of campus." I mumbled she just continued to be stubborn. "Protect me? Well shit you're a bit too late, it all makes sense dad was one too huh? Oh I'm guessing mom is in to?"

She spoke I just nodded my head tears continued to fall from her face she sniffled  using the back of her hand to wipe the tears away. "I'm sorry." She dropped her arms to the side of her. "I'm not the one to say sorry to but Maeve she's probably fucking dead."

Wait.

Wait.
