Here's a collection of symptoms that are common within researchers and such. Though, please note these also align with a few (mental) illnesses, so don't assume right away it's because of the creepypasta.

- losing track of time
seeing or hearing odd things / hallucinations ;;
- hearing static or buzzing
- seeing odd shadows
- feeling observed / watched
- out of place paranoia
- feeling like you were touched, hit, poked, etc
- smelling odd things
random anger/aggressiveness ;;
- hitting randoms things / physical violence
- homicidal acts / thoughts
- get angry easily
depressive or manic/euphoric episodes ;;

- excessive nightmares
- loss of motivation (for research)

- VSS (visual snow syndrome)-like symptoms
- waking up with bruises / marks / etc
- items going missing / in different spots
- seeing the proxy ( ⦻ ) symbol
