TW: ABUSE, SMOKING, BREAKDOWN

No one's POV:

Quackity arrived at school at 7:58 AM, quickly locking his bike up and walking through the doors.

Upon entering the school Quackity walked towards his first class. However, once he made it around the corner he encountered Schlatt.

"Hey pumpkin~" Schlatt cooed before putting his hand around the duckling's shoulder.

"Hi!" Quackity smiled up at Schlatt before pausing his music and removing his earbuds. They had been dating for 6 months now and Quackity has only fallen more in love every time he saw him.

"Did you do the homework?" Schlatt asked.

"No, I'm sorry I forgot to do it" Quackity looked down at his shoes, squirming slightly with his wings folding tightly against his back.

Schlatt tightened his grip slightly on Quackity's shoulder, causing Quackity to wince under the sudden pressure.

"Listen Quackity, I don't ask for much from you. The least you could FUCKING do is complete the simplest task I give you" Schlatt said, tightening every time he raised his voice, "Your such a disappointment it's embarrassing."

At those words Quackity could feel himself start to tear up. Unfortunately Schlatt noticed this.

"Awww pumpkin don't cry! I still love you, even if you are a disgrace" Schlatt said while lifting Quackity's chin so he would look at Schlatt.

Schlatt then leaned in for a kiss and said, "See you later duckling!~"

Quackity watched Schlatt walk down the hall for a moment before the bell rang, snapping him out of his daze. He pulled down his beanie and walked toward his class while looking at the floor and listening to music.

Time skip:

Quackity walked into his math class, still looking at the ground. He then sat in his assigned seat and dropped his backpack onto the ground. Usually the duck sat next to Wilbur Soot, his enemy. Quackity and Wilbur HATED each other, they always have. If you ever saw them together they would be bickering about even the littlest thing. They also never backed down from a fight, if they got into an argument they wouldn't back down until someone dragged them away from each other.

Quackity was really glad that Wilbur wasn't here right now, he didn't feel like arguing and would probably end up crying if he got into one.

The teacher started to ramble, but Quackity couldn't focus. As he started to drift to sleep the classroom door opened. Quackity shifted his head to see who entered only to scowl. His wings flaring up as Wilbur Soot entered.

The teacher had started to question Wilbur since he entered 5 minutes late, but he just dismissed her and sat down next to Quackity, leaning back in his chair. Quackity smelled the strong scent of cigarettes that stuck to Wilbur's coat. Wilbur seemed to not notice Quackity's presence until the teacher asked him to pay attention. Quackity just slumped onto the desk and started to drift to sleep.

Wilbur smirked at this and, after the teacher went back to the lesson, he nudged Quackity with his leg. Quackity sighed and kicked him back, not even facing him.

Wilbur was confused at this since Quackity would usually go into a yelling fit when he encountered Wilbur.

"What's your problem?" Wilbur asked. He meant for it to come out more sympathetically than it did.

"Excuse me bitch?" Quackity turned his head in his arms to face Wilbur.

"You looked fucking upset, I'm just asking jeez." Wilbur replied, rolling his eyes in the process and looking towards his phone. Quackity just grumbled and faced the teacher. He didn't pay attention to her, just didn't want to look at Wilbur. He felt like he was going to cry and it certainly wouldn't happen in front of his enemy.

"Can I use the bathroom?"

"Go ahead" The teacher said quickly. Quackity grabbed his backpack and headed out. Instead of walking to the bathroom he walked towards an exit. Once he was outside he took a deep breath of fresh air. He then sat down on the ground and leaned against the door. Quackity reached into his backpack and pulled out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter, lighting one of them and pressing it against his mouth. After a few seconds he released a small, gray cloud from his mouth.

"Fucking bitch" Quackity whispered, closing his fist tightly, "Just because I didn't do his fucking homework."

Quackity started to tear up, the tears he had pushed away earlier resurfacing. He didn't feel like fighting them anymore, since he was alone it didn't matter anyway. He let the tears stream down his face as smoke emitted from the cigarette in his hands. He sat leaned against the door, crying, for about 5 minutes before calming down enough to take one last puff of his cigarette before throwing it away. He didn't feel like going back inside since he would have to sit next to Wilbur Soot and his eyes were puffy.

He decided to just enjoy the nice weather, taking off his beanie to let the wind flow through his raven hair. He pulled his legs up to his chest and listened to the birds singing in the warm morning. He gazed up at the sky, starting to become more blue than pink as the day progressed. There were few clouds in the sky, being a light pink similar to the sky.

Quackity just closed his eyes after gazing up at the sky and relaxed into the sounds of nature. He listened to the birds sing in the misty morning and relaxed into their songs. Slowly he relaxed enough to eventually fall asleep, leaning against the door and listening to the birds sing.
