My best friend and I were what you would call a power duo.
When we're together, we're inseperable.
We both have our own circles, but who cares.
Lena is a singer and voice actress. She is the blonde to my brunette, even if she dyes her hair every five seconds. She's twenty one, I'm eighteen. We met on the studios of the Grinch in 2018. She was singing and I was on a tour since I was obsessed with the Grinch and Father paid for my tour. Ever since, we've been close to inseparable. People noticed, called us up for TV shows, interviews and much more.
We're at WIRED in LA now. Lena and I are in matching Dior dresses, hers is in black, mine's in cream-beige. Super black cat golden retriever vibes, I guess.
"Hey I'm Alyara Stroll!" I waved to the camera quickly.
"AlYaRa sTroLL." She mocked and we both laughed. She secretly loved my accent. "Hi, I'm Lena Beckham."
"And this is our Wired Autocomplete Interview." I replied.
"Let's start, me first." I snatched the card off her, because I wanted to hold it and rip it off. "Is Lena Beckham from the UK?" She said cheerfully, with a hint of amusement. I didn't see her that often smiling in front of a camera. It felt nice. "Yes, I'm from England. This one isn't, though, and we live in England anyways."
"Does Lena Beckham drink tea?" I looked in her direction.
"Yes, I drink tea, but I'm a orange juice typa girl." She laughed. She adored a good orange juice, like a child.
"Is Lena Beckham a Virgo?" She shook her head disapprovingly. "Yes, I'm born on the 1st of September. Does Lena Beckham sing on her own?" She looked to me with a questioning gaze. She wanted me to answer.
"No." I replied with a laugh. She did, and was goddamn amazing. "She does! I'm joking, she does, she does." Lowering my voice, I said, "Rumor says she uses autotune."
"Okay, anyways, Aly, it's your turn." Lena shooed off dismissively. "Is Alyara Stroll an American?" My best friend held up the board while I stood up and raised my eyebrows.
"No, I'm Canadian-Belgian, like my brother Lance." Me? American? Are you kidding? "How to be Alyara Stroll for Halloween?" How could you be me for Halloween? Hm. If I were someone else, I'd probably wear my go to high waist jeans and a small cropped shirt.
