"This is a bloody big problem how do we manage it? "
"language rei!" Kazuki snickered as he held the device more closer to his eyes.
" Now lift your middle one upwards and ho-"
" can't you use a few better words Kazuki?"
"I can't do anything that's how they wrote it!" the blonde guy said giving up for the 100th time. she did have long hair. and that meant more problems cause none of them knew how to tie hair, or braid it even more. they have to visit the nearby library today for Kazuki to buy some books and Rei was supposed to be in charge of kid. but they can't really take her with that wolf head of hers, the hairs looked nothing less than a nest and after washing they fluffed out even more.
" what would our y/n like? a bun or ponytail like a fairy?" kazuki asked trying to reduce the difficulty.
"braids.... y/n like braids." and there it was, the most difficult thing about raising a girl child. how to make their hair pretty. they didn't want to hurt her feelings and agreed to learn braiding for her but the more they read about it more confusing it got.
" do people really do this every day?" kazuki asked as he mentally sighed for the n'th time, he opened another YouTube video hoping to make a decent braid for the little girl. rei finally caught up a bit and made something of the hair... it couldn't be called a braid but yeah it's the effort that matters. " Our y/n looks so pretty," Kazuki said coaxing the girl as she stood up and stared at herself in the mirror. She slightly touched her hair as she swung back and forth with happiness " I loved it I loved itttt " she said her eyes sparkling up. Rei and Kazuki finally felt at peace knowing they succeeded in this very difficult mission successfully. The blonde guy quickly packed her things and yes her monkey as well and they left for their new destination. Library of course. . . . . . . . " How can you really stay here reading so quietly...like don't you get bored or something" Rei whispered earning a few stares from the other readers. While Kazuki mentally sighed, bringing them was a very bad decision he should've known that. He wanted to know more about how to raise a kid better and the internet didn't help that much, so books were his last option. He got every parenthood book from the shelf starting from how to change diapers to how to cope up with daughter's wedding. But in this process, there were 2 people who got extremely bored and those were none other than his 2 idiots, of course. He looked towards them, rei was half asleep with his headphones on while y/n was moving here from there trying to understand this new location. "Maybe you should take her out or something... You know" Kazuki said elbowing Rei, they both looked towards her as the headphone man stood up holding her little hands as they left towards the door. " I hope it won't be a bad decision to let em go,alone" Kazuki questioned himself again grossing himself back into his book. . . . . . " Okay so see there's that swing and yeah that's called see-saw oh they have a sand pit too," Rei said introducing y/n to this very new world of parks. "Can I really play all of them?" she said looking with her big eyes as Rei nodded his head. She quickly grabbed her monkey as she went running towards the swings. Rei rested on a bench closing his eyes for a moment, taking in the sunlight and enjoying his small moment of peace until he heard small crying noises from the background. Opening his eyes a little he looked towards the scene. " Give me that toy!" "That's mine go away," Y/n screamed as the small boy yanked her to the ground, other boys teased her while tears started to pour from her eyes. "Why are you doing thi-" " Y/n are they your friends?" A voice behind her called, she slowly turned her head towards her savior. Rei glared at the 3 boys bullying his young girl. "I presume that belongs to her," Rei said pulling the monkey's leg towards him. " I won't give it." The small boy said holding it more tightly as a small match of tug and war started between them. "How dare you steal my son's toys." An old woman(hag) from behind screamed at them. Everyone looked towards her as the small boy now started crying and holding onto her mother's clothes. " This man is troubling me Mom he hit me as well see look at this!" he said dramatizing the scene more. "I am sorry mam but I wasn-" " Are you saying my son's a liar?" "I didn't say that." " Oh my God are you some kidnapper, you look very young to have a kid I need to call police-" "Mam can you just list-" " He is my dad ... " Y/n said slowly rising from the ground holding Rei's finger, looking towards the lady. Rei felt the weird thing in his chest again it was the first time she called him that. " This boy was stealing my monkey and mocking me." She said truthfully pointing towards the group of kids. The woman got even more mad. "You little liar-" " Mind your language woman that's my kid you are talking about..." Rei dangerously said as he stared hatefully towards the family in front of him. He didn't like it... He didn't like that someone called her something which she don't deserve to be called. "If I see you and your kid bullying my child again or even troubling her I'll make sure you would call the police next time for a valid reason." He said mockingly. The group left angrily as the woman backed down feeling the murderous aura from the young man. Rei turned towards her dusting mud from her clothes. "You should stand up for yourself more often, everyone is not good ." He looked at her eyes turning his attention to the new bloody bruise on her knee.
"Does it pain?" He asked settling her on the nearby bench as he made a quick run to the medicine shop, luckily it wasn't too far. He went on one knee holding her injured leg on his thigh. "If it pains tell me," he said slightly applying the medicine on it and securely bandaging it. all during the process y/n kept looking at him no one had ever stood up for her, she finally felt what it felt like to give trust to someone. after the small quick aid, they both continued back to the ground.
"I can make a bigger castle than you !"
"I bet you can't little miss "
" more! more! swing it more harder!!!"
"I am not sitting on that duck"
"pleaseeee it'll be fun."
"ah fine last time."
rei said as he made himself comfortable on the duck round. moving his legs to make the motion, while the cart started swinging round and round.
it was already evening and Kazuki was done with reading a few books and borrowing them. he walked towards the nearby park and saw both of his small kids playing on the swing while the sun set behind them. he quickly took out his camera and silently clicked the photo of their first outing in the park saving it for his y/n journal.
"yaa what are you guys doing" he yelled joining them in the fun.
"weeehaaaaa !!! did you see that I am in the air " y/n happily squealed as the evening ended in her laugh and their smiles.
