"So, where are we going actually?"Percy asked.
Hagrid smiled at him before saying, "We're goin' to Diagon Alley, Percy."
"Wha-"He begun questioning but Hermione cut him off.
"Diagon Alley is a cobbled wizarding alley and shopping area behind a pub called the Leaky Cauldron. The alley has an assortment of restaurants, shops and lots of other sights. All of Hogwarts supply list can be bought there. Diagon Alley is completely hidden from the Muggle world, of course. It's very large in area and soon became the centre of the wizarding world."She said in one breath.
He blinked his sea-green eyes at her blankly. "What are you, an Encyclopedia?"
She rolled her eyes at him. "I have a human brain, which is functioned for storing knowledge and memories."
"Must be a very huge brain."
"I'll take that as a compliment."
"Sure."
Ron had came to a stop in front of a worn down pub and inn. The rest climbed out the car. Percy shoved his hands in his pocket, feeling the cold, smooth metal of his pen that would turn into a sword when he uncapped it.
He followed the wizards and witch mindlessly. Hagrid stepped in front of a man.
"Ah, Hagrid!"The man greeted. "Up for another drink?"
"Not now. I'm on 'Ogwarts business."Hagrid tapped the table. The man looked over Hagrid's shoulder and his eyes landed on Percy, eyes widening.
"Merlin's beard! It's Perseus Jackson!"He exclaimed and shook Percy's hands vigorously.
People started crowding around. "Um, what? I don't understand. Somebody explain, please and thanks." Percy said openly.
Hagrid put the crowd to a stop. "Alright, alright. Make way. Young Perseus 'ere 'as got teh get his 'Ogwarts supplies ready 'fore the term starts."
And then the crowd dispersed. They walked out the back door and faced a grey brick wall. Hagrid took out a pink umbrella and tapped the wall three times.
The four of the magical beings stared at the wall expectantly while the demigod just blinked blankly. He jumped a little when he saw that the wall began to move.
It was then he saw a busy alley filled with witches and wizards of all ages and races. This was one of the moments Percy wished he had eyes everywhere like Argus had. He didn't want to miss anything.
"This place is..." Percy breathed out with wide eyes.
"Great?" Harry offered.
"Ordinary?" Ron suggested.
"Crowded?" Hermione asked.
"Magical." Percy confirmed.
All of them let out a laugh at his reference to the wizarding world. And then Hagrid stopped out of nowhere, causing the four teenagers to crash into his back.
Percy stood up, brushing the fake dust of his jeans. He looked up to see a tall, white building looming over them. Bold, golden letters were carved clearly at the entrance.
Gringotts Bank.
