six; the sea god's wand

Mr. Ollivander tried and tried to find the perfect wand but no wand seems to want to except Poseidon's son.

"Do you think that I could just make my own wand? Or not use a wand at all?"Percy asked obviously bored from the countless tries.

Mr. Ollivander ignored his comment. "I think I have just the wand."

The elder reached over to get a box from a safe. Percy wondered why he needed to place it inside the safe.

"This wand, is extremely rare. In fact, it is the only wand created in its existence. Made from two very special trees. There is no such thing as a wand made from two woods, my dear boy. And the core is something that not everyone has for their cores."Mr. Ollivander spoke eerily.

"Give it a go."The elder handed the wand carefully to the boy.

It felt natural and light-weighted in his right hand. As Percy swung the wand, water came blasting out of it. But this water was different. It had bits of fire and electric in them.

"Curious. Curious indeed."Mr. Ollivander muttered to himself.

"What is it?"Percy asked.

The elder gave a smile. "You see, my boy, that wand is made out of the wood of the Water Tupelo and the wood of Pumpkin Ash. Do you see any similarities from the two trees?"

Percy thought for a moment before nodding in realization. "Both trees grow in water."

"Very clever, my boy. Now, the core is extremely rare. Like the wood, you have two cores which is definitely not ordinary. And the cores are extravagant and extremely rare. The first core is from a Mermaid's scales. Second is your very own father's hair."

Percy gasped. "Y-you mean..?"

Mr. Ollivander nodded. "Yes, Perseus. Your father wanted this very wand to be made only for you. He provided all these things for you, knowing that no other wand could be in your possession as you are different."

The teenager could not believe his ears. "I can't believe that he would do that. He already gave me Riptide, and now he wants me to keep this wand?"He said softly to himself.

"My boy, you must keep this wand extremely close to you. It is the second most strongest wand aside from the Elder Wand. Your wand is what people call The Sea God's Wand. Unlike the Elder Wand, which can be stolen from your possession if you kill the previous master, The Sea God's Wand cannot."Mr. Ollivander paused for a moment.

"The Sea God's Wand only obliges to one master. And that master, is you. Once you have left the realm, which is what people say to pass away, the wand will leave the realm with you. The Sea God's Wand is extremely powerful and loyal to its master. Others might say it is stronger than the Elder Wand but others disagree. One thing that I can say to you, Mr. Jackson, is that we can expect great things from you."He finishes.

Percy's eyes widen. "H-how much do I have to pay for this wand?"

The elder smiled before shaking his head. "There is no need for you to pay for it as it is a special request from the Sea God himself."

The young teenager was about to open his mouth but was cut off by a knock on the window. He turned his head and saw Hermione, Ron, Harry and Hagrid all waving at him. Hagrid was holding a cage and inside the cage was a grey owl.

"Your friends seem to be waiting for you, Mr. Jackson. Go on then. And don't forget, stay safe, Perseus."Mr. Ollivander said one last time.

And in a blink of an eye, he disappeared, leaving Percy all alone.
