When Avilasa, Spock, Christopher and M'Benga reach Sickbay the first thing Avilasa sees is the dead unknown bug like alien she walks over to him kneels down so that she is now sitting on her legs and whispers a prayer for the dead that she learned on her home planet in a language no one from this Universe has ever heard blue, green and purple glitter like particles float around her and up into the air as she says the prayer which tells her she's doing it right "what are you doing!?!"  Christopher asks curiously as he watches the magic that to him looks almost like a galaxy of stars "praying and since I don't know how his people do it I'm doing it as my people would and since no one but Spock knows our language your Universal Translator won't pick it up and translate it"  Avilasa replies then she goes back to her prayer and Christopher realizes that it's a prayer for the dead and he smiles now that's the Avilasa he knows not the one who shoots someone without remorse though he knew why she did it one she knew Duke could not be saved and two she no longer wanted both to feel his pain or for him to feel pain when she finishes what looks like fairy wings seem to appear behind her "power's on means Hemmer's making progress"  Christopher says once everything in the room turns on "well he does have Nyota helping him!"  Avilasa replies as she stands up he chuckles "we stay in here, we're lizard chow we gotta make a run for the shuttles"  Sam says "by my calculations, the ice storm outside has just begun it is not safe to leave the ship"  Spock replies "it isn't safe inside the ship but hey, at least we'll all die nice and warm"  Sam says then he walks away and punches the wall "I could give him a sedative"  M'Benga says as he walks over and stands next to Christopher Avilasa chuckles softly "no, Sam's tougher than he looks and I need everyone alert"  Christopher replies "Captain, the Internal Coms are back online"  Spock says "open a channel, all decks"  Christopher replies Spock does as he's told once he has the channel open Christopher says into it "all hands, Emergency Protocol, regroup and rendezvous in Sickbay repeat, get to Sickbay and watch your six"  as they wait for everyone to regroup M'Benga gives his "Medical Officers analysis"  M'Benga says Spock looks at the console which shows the "Dissected Gorn Medical Analysis Layers From External To Internal" and says "fascinating the Gorn's biological makeup renders them invisible to all of our sensors"  M'Benga nods then says "a genetic chameleon that's how I missed it inside Buckley"  he looks at Avilasa and says with a smile "I'm betting I could have used you then"  she replies with a smile "don't tell Christine that!"  Christopher and M'Benga chuckle Spock looks at her curiously "she's a "little" jealous of all the "attention" and praise I get, attention from you, praise from Joseph"  she tells him he nods with sad eyes "I'm not going to get along with everyone Spock, but if you ask me her reasons for hating me are rather petty! not to mention she has never taken the time to truly get to know me because of her jealous hatred, I hate to be "that person" but I really don't care what she says or thinks about me! she's one person out of.... how many people are on the Enterprise!?!"  she says Christopher smiles then says because he was sure the Vulcan would answer the question she asked in his normal way "that was a rhetorical question Spock"  Spock nods then smiles "was there anything from his Bioscan we can use? something trackable?"  Christopher asks M'Benga who replies "for starters, we don't even know what kind of species he was and according to this, the maturity cycle depends on the host in the Orion, it took weeks humans, days"  Spock points to a representation of what the Gorn look like on the Console and says "these ducts in the mouth likely expel venom"  they hear Hemmer reply as he, Uhura, La'an, Christine and a young girl Avilasa doesn't know the name of walk in "yes, and it burns quite tremendously"  Spock says as he walks over to Hemmer "no doubt a toxic meant to blind its victims"  Hemmer replies "I was not the best target"  Avilasa asks "what if it serves a "greater" purpose!?!"  Spock looks at her and asks "what do you mean!?!"  she replies "well they don't seem to reproduce as we do and I would suspect that they would need their "incubators" alive to give birth to their children what if the venom also carries the eggs!?!"  she looks at M'Benga and says "and for your information Joseph they are the one thing I cannot read"  he raises his eyebrow at her "yes, shocking I know but they are "closed off" I'm guessing to everyone for it would only be another way for them to easily be found perhaps they gain the abilities from all the species they're born from or it is a part of their already constructed genetic makeup from the very first Gorn I do not know everything is speculation at this point"  she says he nods "impressive"  Spock says "not really, I don't read from those who don't want me to enter right Hemmer!?!"  Avilasa says ending with a tease Hemmer scoffs softly "and just because they are naturally born hunters who prey then kill anyone whether they be of their own kind or anyone elses doesn't mean Spock or anyone else can't be impressed by how they do things so keep your dark thoughts to yourself George!"  she says to Sam who opened his mouth to speak he closes his mouth for even though he likes her there are times when he fears her and this is one of those times and not because he watched her kill Duke for he knew it was a mercy killing which part of him was grateful for "we just need to reboot navigation it's the only system left to reboot everything else is online"  Hemmer says "that means our mission is complete"  Christopher replies Hemmer nods then says "that would be correct"  Christopher says "okay now let's get rid of these Gorn La'an, tactical analysis"  La'an replies "the hatchlings have begun molting, but they aren't fully mature at this stage, younglings have an intense drive for alpha dominance the two left will be the strongest, the smartest and extremely hostile to each other"  Christopher says "that's a weak spot we can work together, that's our advantage"  La'an replies "no matter what, we have to kill them now we'd have no chance even against one adult Gorn"  M'Benga says "these younglings move too fast for us to hunt we'll have to create a choke point"  La'an replies "the Gorn are highly intelligent, even at this stage a simple trap won't work"  Chapel asks "how are we supposed to hunt them? we-we can't even track them with sensors"  Uhura replies "we make them come to us"  La'an points to her in a way that says "yes! that's how we do it!" or "that's a good idea" as Spock says "that is.... very logical"  La'an tells everyone "Gorn can't resist aggressive behavior they won't back down from a challenge, so.... we can use that to draw them out, put them down"  Sam says "great now we're bait"  Avilasa rolls her eyes at him La'an says "we can use the Environment Controls Gorn avoid the cold we can force them into the areas we want them in"  Christopher replies "now this sounds like the start of a plan all right let's get to work"....
